The plaintiff says the defendant claims she’s a social media influencer, but she doesn’t have any followers on Instagram. She put hair extensions on the defendant, but she never paid, so the plaintiff is suing for what she’s owed. The defendant argues she is an influencer on Facebook. If they were defective within a month, she could have sued her stylist. She could point to the contract to say, "Your Honour, I'm supposed to go un for maintenance every six to eight weeks but i was having issues at four." Of course, she'd need to document that to provide evidence of her having an issue. Maybe....take photos, do a video online about it, call the shop, and record their response, document the attempts to rectify the issue so she could possibly win. However, all she did was not pay anymore. Judge Mathis doesn't need to know the ins and outs of hair extensions. The defendant has not made a case bit just saying "they were coming out at the ends" ..... she can SAY anything she wants but proof wins. And i truly believe that anyone who soends a significant amount of money, so much money they need an installment plan to complete the transaction, would be beyond willing to document the issue as it occurred.
