Welcome to todays adventure in St Thomas where im taking you along the Bath Fountain Experience. This was unforgattable experience of a hot bath massage dome by Germany and the water is naturally hot from the rock which is believed to be healing water with lots of natural minerals in it.

Hi Dee, i have had the mud bath, right there at that same river. I was plastered with volcanic mud at bath fountain. The feel is out of this world, and then they gave me a drink from the spring, so cleansing. Heaven sent Dee, enjoy, you igniting precious memories. Dee, I'm so happy that you visit the pearl of St. Thomas, at least that is what it is to me. I have not been to Bath for over 30 years now, a lot indeed has changed especially to access of the fountain. While the hotel as it is, it was much smaller in size but as expected has improved greatly over time. The built-in jacuzzi tubs that connect to fountain reminded me of the tubs set at Milk River Bath in Clarendon. There in the mountain and close to the volcanic hot water fountain of Bath is an herb that exists among the others that is very bitter in taste. To me that's a special herb as I never saw it elsewhere even from where I have been even in the rural of St. Ann, where my parents came from. Scrubbing the body using it with the soils and sands around were a given because of the healing effect to the skin and the body as a whole. That fountain I must recount was discovered by an African runaway slave that told of its healing properties which he used to improved his condition while surviving peacefully in that region for days from the plantation. Bless😇😇😇.

Remember, also the Botanical Garden Park that is situated close to the foot of that road leading to the fountain, is very renowned for the area where the first present-day plants like Ackee, Breadfruit among others were introduced to Jamaica. Blessings and continue to highlight more than that Parish, St. Thomas has to offer. As I often say Jamaica is a complete package and every parish without discrimination has something unique and spectacular to offer. One Love💖.

If you have never heard of Bath fountain or even bath botanical garden, you obviously werent brought up in Jamaica. Bath is a historical sight, primary school history class taught you that an enslaved African found it and after taking a bath in the water while wounded he realized that his foot was healed. The garden is also the biggest in the Caribbean, were the first breadfruit tree was plant in Jamaica, and it has many types of fruit tree

Great video! Dee, I agree with you that St. Thomas is the most beautiful parish in Jamaica. Years ago, I thought it was Portland, but when I started watching videos of St. Thomas, I changed my mind about Portland. St. Thomas is a very spiritual and mysterious place, and it is also very historical. Many people from the Congo settled in the parish, and they practice their ancestral belief that they called kumina. Slavery was very vicious and brutal in St. Thomas. Many Africans were hanged in St. Thomas. It is said that there is special tree in St. Thomas were a slaveowner hanged hundreds of Africans. It is also the home parish of one of Jamaica's national hero, Paul Bogle.

He needs to just put a little bit of water at a time. She has sensitive skin. They need to stop saying it’s not hot and make it cooler for you! It’s healing waters so you’ll be good afterwards Dee. The sulfur in the water burned my eyes but I enjoyed the massage. Enjoy St Thomas. Get some East Indian and Julie mangoes. They’re the best!

Blessings to you all, I am viewing from Yonkers,NY, USA, I was born in Stokes Hall, St. Thomas, Jamaica a few miles away from Bath Fountain but closer to Golden Grove which is close to where you guy’s are at Bath Fountain, I used to go to the Baths but that was over 60 year’s ago so I am quite aware of what you guys are experiencing although I am sure a lot of remodeling have been done since that time, anyway Big Up and Nuff Love and Respect to you all for the memories. 🙏🏾❤️👍🏽
