Two suggestions for the fence. Use lag bolts to attach the boards. Second run a steel cable through the post on the cow side behind the planks to keep the look but provide a more Maximus rated barrier.

When U. have animals U have to make good choices. Chad already has an intact male donkey that breeds his female. When U have 2 males they will fight for the female & can hurt each other & even the female. Dude is intect & I would hate to see him unable to breed as he is a great looking donkey his coloring is wonderful. There will be more babies at Doss Farm & Chad will make the best decisions for his Farm.

Get a solar fence box and run a hot wire down the inside of that fence. It won't ruin the look of the wood fence and it will keep the cattle off of it.

Thank you once again for telling folks that donkeys do not need grain and actually should not be fed grain. Lush green pastures not good! A good hay .. oh my goodness not alfalfa hay. Donkeys gain weight quickly. The worst thing that can happen. Founder can happen and other life threatening conditions all because you thought they needed grain. I have a little herd of jennys .. no jacks. Before i got them i did my research on how to feed them. They look great .. healthy! Chad's donkeys do too!! I believe he had a vet tell him to watch the weight! He does!! super job!

Here in Ky our plank fences have posts set 8 feet apart. I’ve always used rough cut 1x6 boards. Oak is best. Rarely ever have a board warp. Just sayin. You do you dude. Love the donkeys!

Red dots are great as long as battery last (batteries, batteries, batteries) (iron sights) That blind (?) needs a good inspection before being moved. That is what the fence scrapes are for. Look into ARDOX nails and a nail gun. (All sizes)
