My 33 year old son just sent this to me today on Father's Day. He sent it saying how he remembers when I held him in my arms as a baby and toddler, dancing around the playroom while the theme from ice castles played and the snow was falling outside the windows. It was very appropriate then and also now.

I got a lump in my throat. I had a very anxious, spitty, feral kitten once who didn't want anything to do with anyone. I sung this to him to assure him that everything would be ok. And it was. He grew to be a dignified grown up pet. He hasn't been with us for many years now and I miss him but til his last minutes he loved this song.
