I wish case manufacturers made more horizontal motherboard cases (Thermaltake Core V21 has been my go to). I prefer that so as to avoid video card sag, and I just find it easier to swap parts out as most just let me pop the top and maybe a side to be able to get to the components. Don't get me wrong this case and ones like them are pretty, but I am more a function over form kind of guy.

I really like how this build looks. Any reason why you didn't use an PCIE Gen 5 drive and then also what a about push/pull fan setup on the radiator?

Because the added money from a gen 5 drive is pointless as I would not notice a difference and the max temp this cpu has gotten up to is 68c under full load for over 2 hours so push pull would have also been a waste of money. The 7950x3d does not really need the extra fans on the rad….not the 14900k!!!! That thing for sure does

@@ThePcRehab That's good to know about the PCIE Gen 5 drive. My OCD kicks in and I see the slot is rated for Gen 5, so it makes me feel as if I need to also purchase a Gen 5 drive otherwise it seems like a waste to get a motherboard with that feature. Maybe newer Gen 5 drives in the future will be worth it?

Probably the only thing I would have changed is the case, Montech King 95 Pro would have been my choice... Same look, reasonable price... Excellent quality

Awesome build man. You've built some beautiful PC's. I like the icy blue/white. How did you do that? i want to use that color for my white nv5 build with the d30 fans. I'll also be upgrading my monitor with an Innocn panel. going from 1080p 144 Hz to 1440p 240 Hz.

This is an awesome build! I love white builds and I have a white build now. That being said my next build whenever that is will be black. I just hate how everything white is way more expensive. Love white but that WOW factor for me wore off after about 4 years.

For "Gaming" Just my opinion I was going to say the 7800x3d is a way better cpu. BUT the prices DAMN. Got mine in a Micro Center bundle for $224 I see the damn things are like $500 now. Only other thing I would change is going with only 2 sticks of memory. AMD is a little sassy with 4 for some reason. Otherwise great build. Oh yea 4K ALL the way. I went from 1440 to 4K and the difference is huge. It is like going from 1080 to 1440. I do love how you didnt go oled. Oled looks great if all you are doing is gaming. Text on the other hand seems a little fuzzy.

7950x3d and 7800x3d have the exact same preformance in gaming. But the 7950x3d can handle productivity tasks like video editing and rendering much better then the 7800….so I get all of the gaming performance AND the benefits of a strong editing cpu

@@ThePcRehab a popular term for these types of cases is "aquarium style." hence, fishies. btw, quick question - were you actually able to get all 4 sticks of memory running at xmp (looked like 6400mhz), or did you have to settle for a lower speed due to the 4-stick config? just curious what your experience has been, since amd has released a few agesa updates that supposedly help with memory compatibility and all. sexy build regardless, of course!
