‘Not Zero’ Author Ross Clark “Happy” For Migrants In Ireland To Return To The UK

‘Not Zero’ author Ross Clark says he would be “happy” for migrants in Ireland to return to the UK, if Britain were allowed to return migrants who travelled from other EU countries.
Ireland’s justice minister has said she stands by her claim that more than 80% of asylum seekers arriving in the state have come through the UK despite the deputy premier saying it was not based on evidence, statistics or data.
Helen McEntee is bringing legislation to Cabinet which will provide for the designation of the UK as a “safe country” to allow asylum seekers to be returned.
The figure has since been questioned by human rights and refugee organisations while government ministers have also queried the number.

Ireland welcomes thousands of new citizens annually...Most Irish are fine with an amount of inward/outward migration but not fine with mass illegal immigration. A small village in Wicklow with roughly 300 inhabitants was informed last year that there would be 900 Ukrainians going there... Thats not practical... The UK and Ireland have a post brexit agreement because of the "common travel area" that the rest of the EU does not have, to return asylum seekers who travel to Ireland from the UK. Now, because of a High Court ruling in Ireland that stated that the UK is not a safe country because of it's Rwanda policy, the Irish government has closed that loophole so the agreement between the UK and Ireland post brexit stands. My energy supplier, Octopus, presented an astonishing fact to me when I gave my recent meter readings. All of the batteries on the planet are only able to store 5% of the electricity for world consumption. So where is all the power going to come from when the wind doesn't blow and the sun doesn't shine? Another thing to consider is that batteries do not have an indefinite lifespan and will eventually fail.

Net zero should include the emissions produced making and transporting the goods we import, otherwise it is totally meaningless. You could also add in emissions produced as a result of immigration/ large families.

Absolutely correct! They come to Germany, for example, with two wives, nine children and are therefore entitled to not one, but two apartments - one for each family!! And the "breadwinner" for the two families doesn't have to work of course. When not moving between the two apartments, he is, In fact, doing a full-time course in the German language!
