Don’t forget, BOOX actively violates Linux's GPL2 license by refusing to release their kernel source code.

Is there an update to this info since the comment is 2 years old? I got a Supernote before I knew that the Boox has sound. I would like to be able to do voice to text. This is the first time I have heard there is a security issue, or that they are violating the gpl2 license.

Thank you for making this video. I am about a month into my Supernote A6X and love it, but wish I had bought the A5X instead. I was going to buy the A5X, but found out about the Boox Note Air2 and plus, and decided to investigate. The functionality of the Boox is above and beyond what I was actually hoping for, and after watching several of your videos, I went ahead and ordered the Boox Note Air2 Plus. I’m excited to get it, but now I need to decide what to do with my A6X! Should I keep it, should I sell it…. Decisions, decisions… LOL

Unfortunately that just applies to the main toolbar, not for options like icons for mirroring a selection (for example, which is what he couldn't figure out), but thank you for the tip! :)

@@zangeresisira4717 Yup, I was talking about the main tool bar on the notes page (so it works for the Lasso icon, but not for the sub-options like color etc when the lasso is selected) Will be doing a more thorough review probably at about the 1 month point! :)

Not sure what that is based on, but you can, there are settings which reduce accidental touches

@Neo Because of how he writes, when he's writing in the middle of the page he rests his hand not just on the black border or just on the page, but right on the edge of the screen--right where the activation area is 😅 but thank you for the tip, I'll let him know to try! :)
