I like the idea of noteblocks actually being used as normal instruments instead of just purely made for Redstone. Edit 1 year later: this gave me the idea of a minecraft item, the note lock, you can craft it with 2 iron nuggets and 1 gold nugget, and right clicking a note block with this will lock it to the note it's currently set to, now every note that block produces is the same, and left clicking the note block will give you the lock back. If this was added, minecraft players with a love for music don't necessarily have to go through the redstone process to make a song or recreate existing ones.

In the AvM universe the stick figures can play any note on them without having to set it beforehand and even do things like bending notes.

I really love how you can actually see Red, Blue and Yellow have learned something from the first noteblock/music short (Ep. 5). When they at the start interrupt Green, Red plays two notes simultaneously in a beat (like they were taught by Green in episode 5), Blue plays a low, simple melody (also like they were taught by Green in episode 5), Yellow plays the main melodic additions like the Closed Hat, the Kick and the Snare (once again like they were taught by Green in episode 5) (Also I have no knowledge of music instruments or sounds... take those examples with a grain of salt). Just goes to show what one can do with practice, even without the talent Green has.

@@thepython10110 Not quite. If you look *_very_* closely at 5:38 you'll see that the guitar already had the enchanted glow before he landed and that the lightning hit the ground. The lightning was very clearly shown to hit Green and the chicken's guitars prior to this. So either they made a mistake in animation or he genuinely just has one and cool lightning entrance powers.

I’m a musician who plays bass in jazz, and something I noticed at 3:29 was when they start soloing, the guitar(chicken), xylophone (red), and piano (green), all play for 16 counts but the bass, (blue) and drummer, (yellow) play for 4 counts at a time trading back in forth. This is a real thing in jazz called trading 4s in which instead of the bass player and drummer having individual solos, they instead play off of each other for the same amount of time. Just something really cool that I noticed

I love how all of them have different interests and abilities: Red likes everything about the animals of minecraft, even his inventory always has only spawn eggs Yellow is the redstone god of the group, no questions asked, just a freaking god, he also mastered command blocks fairly quick Green is both the builder and also the musician, this episode itself explains why hes the musician, and in other episodes, even tho the others do seem to know how to build, hes the one seen building the most Blue is also two things, a farmer and a potion brewer, i dont think i need to explain this that much, he was the one who accidentally discovered potion brewing while farming stuff himself And orange? The fact that Orange *didnt* drink a musicality potion says something at the end. Not just because of his awesome jam jumping in to interrupt them. I'm sure that's also why they are all stunned XD. I love how the gang is like "yes we won!" after the two middle songs or something, and Green just nods as *they* are the ones actually playing along with *his* music; and is acceptable to him to play with them now than in the beginning where they sucked at helping. I keep coming back to this one, Epi 5, and Noteblock universe just cause of the iconic music and fun of these episodes~ (and emotion more to Noteblock Universe).
