This Is Me - Born To Dance '24

It has been an incredible journey teaching the NMTS dance classes for the past 14 years. When I first took over the dance class in 2010, there was a small but dedicated group of dancers, some of whom are still dancing with me today! Over the years the class grew, and we started a second dance class.
Those years in the basement, dancing on concrete floors, I never imagined that we would have a beautiful studio with sprung wood floors and mirrors. I still have to pinch myself every time I enter the beautiful space we have to dance in now!
This year NMTS started a third dance opportunity for people called Exploring Movement led by NMTS music therapist, Sam White. I truly feel that this is still just the beginning of NMTS’s journey into the expressive art of dance. We know there are MORE people out there who love to move their bodies to music, and we want to meet that need!
Of course, few people can participate without the support of their family and friends...that’s YOU! So thank YOU ALL for making this all possible.
