They are a menace in any rhythm game they exist in. D4DJ, Lanota, BanG Dream are other rhythm games I know with flicks, and they can be a right pain in the backside. D4DJ can have quick succession flick spam (iirc the actual name for them in D4DJ is scratch notes, because they're on the disc lanes) though at least flicks are omni-directional (can be flicked in any direction), Lanota has a bit of a quirk in that there are only two types of flicks (in or out) and the direction you have to flick them in depends on where they hit the circular judgment line (i.e. inwards towards the center of the circle or outwards away from the circle) (for example You are the miserable on Master has a flick sequence with simultaneous in and out in alternating succession), BanG Dream has flicks in every lane and omni-directional like D4DJ and truly directional flicks (i.e. you MUST flick in the arrow direction) in addition to regular flicks on SP charts. Flicks can be fun, but also hella hard Edit: D4DJ also has fader note flicks, which are directional. Even in quick succession, they are in my experience less of a problem than rapid scratch note sequences

Gallop notes are 😚👌 unless it’s with a flick next to it because of my sticky fingers. Auditable sliders gives us a break. Ooh, quick and short spams are fun! Love slides + flicks, especially golden ones. Filler flicks are fun! And golden bursts (or golden notes in general) are the best!
