The Discord Nuke Bots Rabbit Hole

There are a ton of Discord bots that you can use to create your Discord server. But there are also a ton of Discord bots that have the sole purpose of destroying your server. Nuke bots are a very common sight on Discord, from big servers to small servers.
But is this simply people seeking revenge on a server owner for being banned? Or is there a sub-community of people on Discord that specifically seek out Discord servers to destroy solely for the sake of looking cool to their friends? Well I'm bad at teasing you but yep, there are Discord trolls that nuke and raid Discord servers for the sole sake of destruction and self amusement.

FOR EVERYONE, you guys should be fine if you dont give any random admin. I recommend not giving admin or let admins+ add bots since this shit happens now, aswell use WICK bot and other anti nuke bots, aswell increase moderation and security. NEITHER add random unverified and not trusted bots. This wont make impossible for people to still nuke your server YET it will prevent it a lot. About a week ago two people tried to get the DD Security Bot into my server so, I tried getting it into a server my friend made for this occasion and they said: "This server is not built we need a built server with more people" They said it had Anti-raid capabilities and they said the bot was called DD Security. So I did some digging and sure enough I found out that it mass pings servers and even before I did the digging, I am not braindead enough to realize that it was an obvious scam, and it mass pings you. So don't trust most people on Discord.

Yeah... For servers the owner should really trust their staff members, Like example... My friend who is a developer trusted his friends (including me) to be a Moderator. and so far while their games are getting more popularity, these people would try to befriend us and say "Hey, i can make a custom bot for you" Little did they know that we didn't need any of that because we already have Dyno, and ServerStats for the server. But we had to make sure that the bots are verified, with double checking. So far so good, no raids or nukes whatsoever, We also added logs that cannot be managed by any Moderator but the Owner himself so he can track whoever touched the Roles, Permission and so on.

I know a guy on Discord apart of one of these gangs like this (not dead destroyers, but another group), and I used to be in their little community server I used to absolutely hate them, but somehow I got added to a group chat with him that a friend who's affiliated somehow with gangs like these added me to, and we became friends somehow They nuked and hacked a bunch of Gacha related servers/users, and theyre rlly infamous in the gacha voice acting community (I think they still are? I left the community a while ago lol) Ive seen so many people get hacked and so many servers get nuked by them, and its srsly disappointing how many people dont know not to give bots admin, especially if its a custom made bot/bot requested to be added by the 14-yr-old tho srsly, these kids r just like 13-15 yrs old 💀 theres nothing to be scared of rlly, just educate urself on how to keep your server safe
