The Chanticaille trio is so pretty as is the lip product. I like that there are two eyeshadow palettes for the Spring. I recently made my first Chanticaille makeup purchase, a quad that was deeply discounted on a Black Friday sale. I was so surprised at how pigmented the shadows were! It certainly left a positive impression. The Clinique highlighter looks beautiful, too!

Oh Rebecca you had me in tears when you said the Clinique was really Cliniquing😂. But really all of the new makeup today is so beautiful 🤩. And I would gladly bring my coats and gloves to experience a California winter! South Jersey winter is already getting to me. We still have some snow on the ground 😮. The Nymph palette appealed to me the moment I saw it and your review just sealed my decision to purchase it, Rebecca! I passed on the Beautylish lucky bags as I would much rather spend on items I know I want rather than risk duplicating what I may already have or getting something I don’t really care for. I plan on trying the new Dior foundation that was released to try out too. Last, being from Orange County, CA, myself, I absolutely could tell it’s winter/cold by what you’re wearing in the video. 😊 I always joke that weather in 60s is chilly for Southern California (the marine layer doesn’t help either) and anything below that is definitely cold for us! 😂. Great review, Rebecca! Looking forward to the CT New Year lipsticks review. 😊

I really like the Chantecaille shadows! They are just effortlessly beautiful! I have to confess that I completely forget about Clinique until someone brings them up. That sounds wild to me since Clinique “Happy” was the parfum du jour for me as a teen and I used to use their soaps and face masks as well! You are ON FIRE!! First with TF Rose Exposed and now first with Chantecaille Papillons!! 💪🏻🤩 The eyeshadow is beautiful! I really want it. Lavender is my favorite purple for shadow. Because of that, I have a lot of lavender shadow, though. I will have to think hard on this. I would use all 3 shades, but I have the other 2 of the trio several times over. So if I get this, it will be for the purple. Do I really want to spend $80 for one shadow? Gah!! OTOH…I want ALL the purple. So I kind of do want to actually. I’ve done more stupid things in the name of makeup.😂 I’ve not heard anything about the Clinique highlighter. It’s very pretty on the cheek.

The Chantecaille eyeshadows look much prettier in your video than I had anticipated! I might be able to tolerate those. I agree their Lip Sheer formula is great. I don't understand why Clinique put aluminum powder in that highlighter - it is perfectly possible to make a lovely highlighter without that ingredient and Clinique is supposed to be leaning toward being friendly for sensitive skin. Plus that highlighter is pretty pricey compared to what I would expect from Clinique. Estee Lauder seems to constantly make really questionable decisions and really needs a total overhaul from top to bottom, I think.

I haven't tried the trio Eye Palettes yet, but I find that the Quads gave a more cohesive look. The trio's are basically one and done shadows as they are too light and blend together on the lids. At AUD$140.00, I expect much more, although this brand is notorious for grossly over-charging. Can anyone honestly state how much they donate to their 'causes' from each item sold? I will admit to loving their Lip Tints, yet releasing four in one go is overkill. Chantecaille will not sell to Australia and New Zealand, so imagine the frustration when endless KZbinrs go on about their sales. It will be about another 1 - 2 months before we see parts of this collection trickle into our sole stockist who never orders in enough products and sell out immediately, even at their over-inflated prices too. No matter how much this brand rattles on about their 'philanthropic efforts', they can achieve much more with these exorbitant prices. From their last release of three shades of the Lip Tints, as usual, all I could purchase was a measly one. I have better luck picking up items from the brand on eBay! A brand that excludes so many from obtaining their products is not one I choose to support.🇦🇺💖👩🏼‍🎨
