Whenever there is a mercy that won't switch I usually just heal a bit more and if that doesn't work I just swap.

Been learning my Lucio movements/wall climbs and jumps better after watching you, and I feel relieved you also dislike this map for him. I'm still getting used to the back and forth climbs or those slight touches into a jump, and those DAMN LEDGES and other little design features? I catch them so damn often and throws me off.

I am a GM console Lucio, and I agree it's a pain in all of those exact spots, Frogger. We can do those little circle flicks on a controller, but it's not as pretty as it is on a mouse. Lol. Just takes practice. Of course, I've been playing since Season 3 in Overwtach 1 in 2016, and I still mess it up very now and then. I'm just gonna blame it on the maps.

7:00 that's literally the most annoying thing they added to every map, a bunch of ass-ugly, useless geometry that negatively impacts gameplay because it's always in places where it's going to make someone get stuck when they need to not get stuck. I mean ffs there are multiple spots on various maps where you can get 100% cannot move at ALL stuck that they just never fixed. Devs at Blizzard are brainless.

I do this combo all the time and win. Most of the time you need a aoe heals mixed with single target, but as Lucio you need to also make up the dps diff as dps is a entirely useless trash role to play that is completely defenseless. Most of these people coming up with these x doesn't play with x as support doesn't realize every support can play well with every other support while with dps you can not have 2 similar roles for roles. Brig Lucio, everyone moves as a team, brig is healing with her attacks and Lucio is speed boosting which also does mid, that mid becomes dmg not needed for heals. Lucio mercy, Lucio focuses more on dps than heals and attack backline possible flank with dps flankers healing them and focusing same targets. More mercy's also need to focus on survival of themselves over survival of the weakest links.

Mercy survival is how you climb with her. It’s why the high rank ones look like fighter jets even after the GA nerfs. It’s not necessarily that you need to aim for certain healing or damage boost numbers but literally just low amount of deaths. I’ve had comp games with literally 0 deaths on Mercy and just by staying alive, I wind up with drastically higher numbers for both of her abilities lol

It's not really bad, just means you have to be aware of it. Mercy can only heal one person at a time and although it's decent healing its not that fast. Lucio heals are even slower and it's AOE. Also, both these characters get their best value from not using their healing abilities all the time since they can either only heal or use their utility at a time. That being Lucio speed and Mercy damage boost. I may be wrong, but just trying to help since that's what I remember seeing from a coach.
