Conor is a legend. And, so are Joe, Dom, Price & Phil, really! I discovered them in 2016 when they played a show on the rooftop of a Downtown LA hotel and I knew his voice was something special. This new album is one of, if not, the best parts of 2020, FOR SURE! Can't wait for the tour xo

@robherrera, this is a good interview! Thank you! (I just found this interview) Learning about the technique behind singing, the evolution of nbt and the songwriting proces is very interesting. Also the production of the brilliant Moral Panic (now I know why “Can you afford to be an Individual” slams it, it s one of my favorites). But the most special part in the interview is Conor telling that when you connect to his voice, in fact you connect to his own soul. And this because he always sings from the place where his emotions are. What a present from him to all of us, allowing listeners to do this. For me, it s been very long, if ever, since I ve heard someone sing in a way through wich I really feel all these emotions. And this helps me through a lot. There are/were singers who can/could do this with 1 or 2 emotions, and who are very good at it. But not as intense as Conor, and not at such a wide, complete range. This is so special. I hope that the tapping in on his emotions during singing, does not ask to much from him, that he does not have to refeel everything, but succeeds in doing it in the controled way he told about. As listeners we may touch his soul, in return he touches mine, and many others souls. I hope he also can feel this in a way, somehow, wich gives him something back. He is a nowadays music legend and a really authentic and beautiful person, in every imaginable way.

I wonder if Conor know how rabid we really are about the band, and especially his voice. It is needed by many of us on shit days and his voice is like he means it and he is singing to us. Maybe he cares about us. I am one of the rabid fans and likely his oldest fan. He melts my soul or grabs it whenever he wants. Moral Panic is just perfect as was all their albums and I really wish they would release the sessions at home as an album and their covers as well.
