@@mayurkulkarni29 I dont have apple products so I don't know how to do this, but make sure you are allowing the cmf app to stay open in the background so it can communicate with your watch at all times. On Android we can lock the app to our recent apps list so it doesnt close but Im not sure what the ios solution would be.

I honestly can't even imagine a situation where I would need any of those features because I always have my phone with me. When would anyone need maps on their watch? Whenever I need maps and its not on my phone, its always on the screen in the car

The biggest thing I'm missing so far is customizing the complications on the watch face. If you want a face that shows the time, date, step count and weather, you are out of luck. The best I can do so far is go with a simple face like "type" and set the widgets I want to be on the face to be one swipe away. Not perfect, but fairly usable. No complaints on battery life. I'm on day 3 and this thing has never touched its charger. Still at 80% battery.

The CMF Watch Pro 2 is a great price, and gets a lot of things right... But man, the software was a total dog for me. Particularly, notifications were INCREDIBLY hit and miss, and I consider that to be the type of feature that a smartwatch absolutely MUST get right. I missed so many due to the watch randomly disconnecting from the watch app on the Pixel 8 Pro... or just randomly not passing notifications through (until suddenly it did and they all came streaming in at once). And no security model on the device is a big no no these days. Great review!

I haven’t tried their watch, but I’ve read that the update has fixed most of the problems people were having with it. I can’t speak on that, but I’ve been using a Nothing Phone 2 since late last year and it’s like a completely different phone compared to when I first bought it due to their consistent useful updates, so I believe it tbh.

Thanks for the detailed review. Was about to buy one until I saw the AOD. The AOD on my Samsung watch displays the chosen watch face but dimmed a little, also, minus animations like the second hand. I find that most of the time that I look at my watch it's on the AOD. A different AOD to the chosen display is a deal breaker for me. So, thanks again for saving me the disappointment I would have had if I bought one.

Thx Chigz. When you connected the watch to app for the very first time, did you touch the (+) at the top? I found that did connect but the picture that appeared showed the square Pro and various things like firmware update versions and watch screens only applied to the Pro, not the Pro2. I needed to do a reset and then click the little watch icon at the bottom to connect and work correctly for the Pro2. That little watch icon at the bottom looks like the Pro which is square and not round too. All is working for me so far. I bought because I saw it has an accelerometer which I thought meant it would detect falls but I don't think it will.

Great review, but do you think the connectivity is good? E.g. If I'm using Spotify or a music player app on my phone but I want to control it on my watch, will I stay connected? Same thing with taking calls. I had heard that there were major issues with connectivity on the first watch. I'm trying to decide if I want to get this watch or wait for the Pixel Watch 3. Also, it seems like this watch would be difficult to see in the sun due to low nits?

Sorry to say this, but I bought the phone, Buds Pro 2, and the watch to have a complete set. The watch's software isn't great, but maybe they'll fix the issues in later versions. However, the Buds Pro 2 were terrible. Due to the noise cancellation, the right bud made waterfall-like noises, which gave me headaches. Contacting support was really difficult; they always asked for so much information like the serial number, version, order number, and so on. After much struggle and exchanging 8 to 9 emails, they tried to send me a return label that didn't work, so I gave up trying to get any help.Now I understand why the company is named "Nothing." I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy phones or any other devices from them.

For notifications, you need to open the app and activate the apps you want to receive notifications from. By default most of the app notifications are off. If your BT calls is not working, this is again something you have to activate from within the smartphone app.

ATTENTION ALLERGIC PEOPLE WITH WATCH PRO 2!!! Unlike the first model from 2023, this CMF by Nothing Watch Pro 2 from 2024 can give you contact allergies. According to Nothing, you already have the charging pins with a nickel finish. The buckle is unknown. In my case, this being in contact with the epidermis of the wrist, I had a rather unpleasant allergic reaction. All this combined with the heat and sweat of the summer. The brand, faced with this problem, gave me a surreal solution. In conclusion, I proceeded to return it. In 2024, the use of components that harm health in a product of this type is out of context. Greetings.
