When the Nothing Ear (1) was released, I tested it and it was BAD! And then I waited 3 months and bought another retail unit, and it was REALLY GOOD!

Love your content. Actually helped me into buying the Nothing Phone a few weeks ago. Cheers from Mauritius Island! Now I can't wait to finally get the Nothing Ear 2. The mic sounds pretty good on your test. Have you had the chance to use these on zoom/ms teams/ google meet calls? Based on my experience, the mic quality on earbuds for online meetings are signifcantly worse compared to phone calls. Unfortunately, I have not seen a single review where this use case was part of the testing.

The microphone quality will only be different if you use any digital voice enhancing or background noise removal in the app being used, otherwise it will sound identical as this sound test and other microphone sound test that I do in the channel buddy

@@AdamLoboTV I dont use any software to remove background noise but based on my experience, the quality is severely degraded on my Smasung buds (used on macbook, I know its weird combo) to the point where the Samsung buds was not usable at all. The weird thing too is that when I test it using the native Zoom mic test feature, it sounds ok on the recording that zoom captures but on actual calls, I sound like I am under water according to people I am in meetings with. So far, the airpods + macbook is the only one that I’ve found that performs consistently both on phone calls and zoom calls based on the VERY limited (probably 4 in total) that I tried using on zoom calls.

Finally purchased it today, so worth it. Compared to the ear 1, it's much more richer in sound for me. Way better with the noise cancellation

Hey Adam, great comoarison, I agree but I am more of an overhead headphones guy. The deeper sound is the only reason I prefer them to earbuds. I reckon this must be pretty good considering the ear one was as good as the airport pro. What are your thoughts? I am guessing you like over ear? Anyways, have a great day!

Hey brother Hasan, welcome back! For me it depends on the situation, since I am out and about more these days I tend to choose earbuds more than over the ear, I find myself using headphones only during travelling overseas and occasionally watching KZbin or Disney+ late night when I’m done with work 😅😅

Better than the Sony Linkbuds in every way, in terms of sound quality, better than AirPods 3 but the AirPods Pro is better in sound quality and noise cancellation but you will need to consider the potential piece of this too 🙂
