Grog is still on the ground here at 8:05 from when he got hit at 4:38, its the same kind of spell that Delilah used to collapse the tower on the gnomes and then take out Keyleth at the end. Very powerful magic so it had him out for a while, but Grogs a bit tougher than Keyleth so he wasn't gone entirely. Vampires are a variety of undead, you have to die and be brought back as one. Its why no one was worried about Vax after he was bit, and no one has detected anything obviously undead about Cassandra. And Cassandras eyes have flashed yellow two, even three times these past two episode before Sylas reinforced the magical control on her. Shes had 5 years of mind control *and* manipulation, of course she didnt just forget those good memories of Percy.

No?? Sorry I don't really know how to respond to this ^^. When I started watching I hoped I would get invested, otherwise it wouldn't be worth reacting too.

@@kieranshae I think what they were after was more along the lines of there are shows were we watch and get a certain level of invested... then there are the shows we get into and ... each character becomes someone we like, hate, or love... we want more and more so to speak in a sort of... this is tooo dang good sort of way, right? For us, this is _that_ kind of show.

Sylas is really strong - he's a Vampire Lord - but he was really just Delilah's henchperson. She's an archmage, after all. Keyleth is the strongest of Vox Machina (although Pike rivals her when facing undead). And she's the one packing the Sunbeam spell, perfectly designed for erasing pesky vampires from your life. In D&D, you only become a vampire if you are killed by a vampire feeding you, although they could change the lore if they wanted. Cassandra willingly going up to be fed on just reinforces just how much control they Briarwoods had over her.

Yes I was waiting for the sunbeam spell to play into this since it seems of so much import in the earlier episode when Keyleth is able to do it.

Yeah I mean Sylas is a vampire and he's the size of a freaking tank. I don't feel like it's that shocking that he was really strong.
