What a movie! Social status, overseas studies..things that get to our head and make us believe that we are superior to others. Many lessons to learn. The deceit, rejection and heart break was too much and I cried throughout until I realized there was going to be a happy ending. Udoka was the true jewel from childhood that Michael was too blind to see. As the song says " you don't know what you have until you lose it, you don't know the chances you have until you misuse it." Love won in the end.

This whole thing was just messed up lol How can Michael choose to go out with Anna knowing of her ways in hopes maybe he could change her. Micheal switched up on her. And as for Rita’s character how can you centre your whole life around getting married to someone. the only reason why he wanted to marry her in the end is because he realised Anna was not going to change just cos she is in Nigerian.

I've seen this movie a thousand times and I'm confused. Anna is obviously convinced that udoka is a maid. OK so, why ask her to do things like wash clothes when you have a maid?
