I like that they did their own spin on this. Too many cover versions just make you want to go back and listen to the original instead.

Alex Vuich Yeah, Johnny Hawkins has a hell of a voice. Octane on SiriusXM sort of "found" them, and they've kind of overplayed their top tracks, but hoping they play the hell out of this one.

WOW. That could have passed for their own song. If I heard that on self titled right after This Is The Time (Ballast), and never heard NIN's I would think this was their own. Of coarse being a huge fan of T.F. (and Mr. Reznor's overall work with and without Mr. Ross), and knowing the original this not only did justice, but they were able to adapt their instrumentation to recreate the main grinding beat of We're In This Together in a way I didn't think could be done. See, shit like this, and how their stripped back cover of Go to War they did on Sirius competed with the strength of the original, and their invention of The Scorpion Tail (a new instrument), AND being able to recreate dub step tracks with live instruments? These guys are carrying the torch for rock. Wether they're pulling in elements Folk, dubstep with real instruments, pop, or Nü-Metal they've given one half of the coin needed to keep rock alive, and on the other side you have people like Greta Van Fleet or J Roddy Walston & The Business or Alabama Shakes. FUCK yeah guys. Genre bending is the shit.

Can anyone give me any details about that drum kit? Back in college, I was a hell of a drummer. The world has conspired against me being able to get back to that, and a set of Roland electrics definitely looks to be the solution. Hopefully Paul O'Brien will see this, but if not, what is the pad he has for the cymbals? The bass and snare look like the norms... stretched snare head, double bass pedal (sold separately), but he has pretty much everything else on one block of pads. Anyone know what that piece is?
