I think the phone symbolizes the amount of time that we spend scrolling on social media all the time. And the time wasted on the phone starts to destroy the relationships you have with your loved ones. Hence, the parents and the kid passing out on the floor. Also the term "Fake Friend" could be talking about the people on social media who try to change the people around them to fit their beliefs. So when the kid finally threw the phone out, the family was awake again and they were all saved.

I bonded strongly with my aunt back in 2018, we would talk almost daily and she was the only person I trusted to know literally EVERYTHING, especially since I never open up due to my trust issues. After my Nana died in 2020, I haven't heard from my Aunt. I always had the lifelong fear that when my Nana died that I would be alone, and I begged her to not let that happen. Thanksgiving 2020 was the last time I was invited to a family gathering and haven't heard from anyone since, especially my aunt. This song is a PERFECT representation of how I feel about her. Every single lyric hits home. Sometimes we all need some sort of reminder that we aren't alone, or to feel like someone is able to relate to our feelings in some way. This song was that reminder for me, and I'm doing so much better now. I made it a full year without self harm, I have my own online store now, and I know my worth is greater than I think, even if my head says otherwise.
