You're right, I am a UX designer so I know that the youtuber did a really good job and yes the nothing UX team is too lazy to implement their own elements in the apps and let's not forget they don't even have a gallery app yet they took 3 versions to just bring the gallery app and just to clarify I am typing this using nothing phone 2 🥲

They should keep the default dotted clock style as a option like the others. Seriously it looks so cool, clean and minimal. And as you said the brightness slider should come on the first swipe down and also the music widget in the quick settings panel should be fixed as somethings wrong with the padding when its swiped down. Remaining changes are awesome! Waiting for 3.0 to be really stable!

Nothing should bring an option to change the colors and the size of the clock styles; some of them are too big. Also, I don't know if they will but adding a custom font option for clock faces like OneUI would be great. But still, they didn't add an option to resize icons 😔

Google pixel does not need oversized ovals in the quick settings for simple things like torch or auto rotate. It makes sense for either squares or circles to be in the quick settings. I cannot wait to upgrade to this phone

Nothing is the kinda company that actually listens to their customers. I'm 100% sure once the official release comes out all the big will be fixed and the majority of the things we don't like and want them to keep. Nothing will fix it. Looking forward to my Nothing Phone 2 to get even better!

I love the fact they're introducing pop-up view, I have it on other phones and it is amazing. However, I hate the UI changes, because they feel like they are completely detached from their previous style, removing the dot font and whatnot. It's too different, which makes it feel devoid of character. What I used to love about nothing's UI is that while a lot of it just took from aosp, the parts that were custom just screamed Nothing, they were completely unique to them and you could tell no other company would have made something like that. Now, not so much. Very disappointed overall
