Doesn't this prove that we can put small cameras on their masks without them having issues?? That camera angle would be awesome for nhl broadcasts

The NHL has really got to stop screwing the fans with this Outdoor Classic b.s. People paying exorbitant prices to sit in the cold watching players who are a speck on the horizon. Another shameless cash grab

If you dont want to go watch a winter classic game. Heres the news flash. You dont have to. I love watching these games from home, very entertaining. And the jerseys are always awesome

He was telling you that its not a cash grab. You dont have to buy tickets if you dont want too. A lot of people put a lot of work into this to make it as cool as it is. And you can still buy verified resale tickets for this game for 200$ a piece, seems reasonable to me. Also ps. its like 50 degrees in seattle, not that cold, dont see how this is different than sitting for baseball or football game? Mariners play here Seahawks play right next door. @billboggs6641

In Old Breton, it was spelled toc; in Modern Breton, it is spelled tok, meaning simply 'hat'. The French Canadian term likely has its origins with the long hats that were worn by the Voyageurs as they traversed westward on the rivers of North America.

Explanation 👇🏼 *beanie is a relatively newer term for a type of winter head covering. Guessing you’ve never “been” out to a game of shinny on a frozen lake or river in Canada 🇨🇦

@@OneMountainNine I'm born and raised in the Canada of the US, Minnesota... I learned to skate when I was four years old. My suburban neighborhood was called "The Ponds"... ive played shinny and backyard hockey my entire childhood. However, we don't have many French, and even less of their language and culture. We call them winter hats, or stocking caps.
@OneMountainNine Жыл бұрын
@@seanwallace89 I know those ones, we used to wear them more associated with Christmas. Didn’t have many ponds or lakes when I grew up and there wasn’t a league available until I was a teen so I was slow to learn to skate. Played goal and I did develop good balance from getting up and down quickly a lot. I almost played pro football and baseball. Deep down I would’ve loved to have had the opportunity to be a pee wee goalie. I was first pick for goal with blade hockey eventually. Defiantly happy in hindsight with my choice to pursue something other than pro soccer, football or baseball. A football scholarship would have been the most likely. I changed from academia to trades and music/art although school counsellor testing and later vocational and aptitude tests said the same thing and it was kinda detrimental became they said pick whatever avenue of academia, get a PhD, then choose a specialty. They didn’t say choose engineering or be a doctor. Best wishes in 2024!

@Hockeydudemaddox Toque has French origin’s circa 1600’s and beanie origin’s circa 1900’s. An approximately 300 year old word for a winter “hat” (“chapeau” en Français) trumps a century old noun for almost the exact same for all intents and purposes using time as the measure of righteousness. Now you know two new words in another language and learned something about coverings for “the old bean” 😂
