My contribution to the algorithm: as far as I'm aware, there are a few .50 calibres, 3 out of 5 are currently in the game, maybe 4 after wipe: 12.7x99mm (.50 BMG, Jaeger somehow made slugs out of their projectiles, probably from the scattered NATO equipment we saw), 12.7x108mm (found in NSV), 12.7x55mm (PS12), .50 Action Express, and .500 S&W (not in game)

@TickleMePinkGaming I'm no expert either, there might be some I missed like the .50 Beowulf mentioned. Military munitions wise .50 BMG and 12.7x108mm is probably the most you would be able to find. Things like 12.7x55mm is quite the unicorn and .50AE and .500 even more so given the Tarkov setting

From what I remember originally Nikita wanted to make Tarkov an open world where you would have to fight map to map to get to your hideout. But they scrapped the open world; but they might still make it so you have to fight through certain routes to get back to your hideout, in theory why you’d have to travel from map to map. Idk just from what I remember with rumors and pods since like 2017.

@@PlayerHaterOfTheYear Gotcha, and that would make sense to me if they integrated the finished intentions of map to map traveling (like going to hideout etc.). But for now it just looks like a disadventage as you join people in new raids with fresh gear, ammo, food etc. However, I don't want to be a negative nancy here as I really like the idea! We have to see it for ourselves in the coming hours. Just like to speculate about it and think it through.

Grumpy's Hideout Key at Ref 2 is a mini-kiba. Meta armor, 6 plates, and ammo like 995 and SSA. This is available from level 15 and since Ref gives a Lega medal for every weekly task is going to be in play much more

Cheapest class 5 armor is still able to tank a lot of 40-ish pen bullets. So i wouldnt say that bulletspounge PMC's are a thing of a past. Bagary was tanking BS and M995 like crazy. It seems that armor cuts of a lot of damage even from ammo with matching or slightly exceeding pen value. And if you take into account overlapping plate colliders, arms blocking thorax hitbox and overall players moving and turning around under fire the general hits to kill will still be far into The Division zone. The only thing missing is hitmarkers and damage numbers over the head.

The anticheat update seemed do do sweet f all,first to accounters where blatant cheaters.First one was 5 headshots from P226 to the head and second i got a 17 hitcount on a guy wearing a paca after watching the replay the first two shots where to the head and he wasnt even wearing a helmet his paca tanked the rest.

Idc sweats are still gonna find level 6 armor easily. The last thing 5.56 need was ANOTHER nerf like bruh. Can they just allo BP and 855/56a1 to be on flea or level 3-4 peacekeeper. Like c'mon man. Edit: I now see they added 42 pen to flea. I think it could be better still but yeah this is a step in the right direction. Imo they should nerf the hitboxes a little bit but buff the level of most in-built armors from level 2-3 and 3-4. Maybe bring back the armpit hitbox but make it so there is no gap combined with that level increase. It would be nice to be able to kill sweats in some other way than a headshot or leg meta, even by a hail mary spray to the body.
