In short, because Star Rail started as a copy of Genshin’s code (and all its issues with it), it would’ve been better to fix things in the new game while in a non-live environment, and then take the insight gained from the already complete iterative process and apply some of it back to Genshin. I prefer Genshin and yet I agree that it was the right decision to fix things in Star Rail first.

Side Note: Chiori is a split scaling unit. She scales off of Def & Atk. Also placement of a construct after switching to a geo character after using her teleport skill grants a buff, or so I am told

@@vinny8589they are vastly different. Albedo deff build have high skill dmg but loses burst dmg. atk build lowers skill dmg but higher burst. multi scaling can use both stat at all time. and didnt suffer from dead stat as much as a split scaling unit.

Chiori's aesthetic is so great; I had to skip Cloud Retainer (also, plunge gameplay isn't really my thing). I have a soft spot for Inazuman characters, too. Despite my disappointment with her kit, Chiori was a must pull for me.

Golden Troupe and Husk are basically same difference so just whichever you have pieces for, Husk more so if you want her burst and or on field to be a bit better. I think they put GT in the trial because most people will simply want to play her like that and everyone is already farming it like crazy. And yeah the QoL has gotten way better, but lucky for us the event stories and stuff improved before our QoL so we can take that as a sign we aren't completely the unloved second child
