I swear. After a while. By that i mean about 5 6 months, i didnt cry when i thought of jjong becuase i know he wants us to be happy. But the way Key sang goodbye made me burst into tears. We'll never really know Jongkey's relationship for real. But i believe they had something more. Something much deeper than just bandmates or friends. Even though one isnt here physically. Their bond is still stronger than ever. Rest in Peace Jonghyun. You did so well. Key will forever be yours, and one day you'll reunite in paradise. 💙💎❤💍

When I listened 'I Will Fight' for the first time without translation, I was sure it was for Jjong. But when I saw the translation I felt like a confirmation. We don't know they had a love relationship (I think so but when and how we don't know) but they had so much love. Still do. The akai ito part screams so loud that Jongkey it's real for me. It's like Key said "guys, all you see about us was real, I'm trying to be alright singing part of our story for you". All I wanna do every time I listen this song it's hug Key. Huge hug. 0:53 "You are the red line to me" Is this about the red string of fate that ties a pair of soulmates together? If so that's beautiful, because Jonghun called himself "Key's soulmate". 1:34 "Now that I am ready, what are you doing? There is no you" God these lines, they break my heart. It's also so ominous in the way we don't know what Key was "ready for" I have my guesses but I like how the reason isn't out right said. 1:36"I almost achieved the things I've promised only you" I wonder why it's the word "almost" as in he hasn't yet done what he promised. 3:03 "I will make it so that you can find the you that you didn't know too" This is such a beautiful line, considering the fact that Jonghyun felt that no one could understand him or would "like the real him". 3:07 " fight for you, for us" This just hits in so many ways... I feel like there are a lot of implied things hidden in this song. But more than anything Key promises to live his life for Jonghyun, which is such a loving gesture... you are loved Jonghyun, rest in peace!

We might never have the official statement about their relationship, but I'm sure they know that everybody knows and understands. I don't believe that jongkey was real in the way we wanted. But I have a friendship like theirs. She's my best friend and at one point we DID like each other. But now we just love and care for each other in the best way ever. We share each other's pain, cry to each other, laugh on each other's shoulder and care for each other. We're more than just friends, but not a couple. We're not only family, but we have a genuine bond. And I definitely believe that they have that same bond. Of support, love and pain. I can't imagine how key's feeling. I know the pain of losing jjong, but I don't know key's pain. He's so strong to be how he is and who he is now. He truly is the almighty key. ❤️

Beautifully put. My belief is that soulmates aren't always romantic. You don't need to be a couple in that way to be soulmates, and I see my best friends as my soulmates. I think Jonghyun and Key had a very strong bond... Fun fact: in western astrology, they share the sign of Virgo in their natal charts, Key's sun is Virgo, and Jonghyun's moon is Virgo... which could explain their bond if you believe in that stuff. I think shared suns and moons are supposed to go well together. Taemin's sun (and moon) is Cancer, and Onew's moon is Cancer... but bear in mind this is western, not eastern, and it might all be rubbish! Point is, I believe in non-romantic soulmate bonds... and whatever Key and Jonghyun had, I send so much love Key's way. He's doing *brilliantly* at this time. (They all are)

Koreans hv a lot of skinship.. in other conutries, its not socially acceptable for guys to hv this much skinship or say cheesy things or i love yous, but in korea, its somewhat okay. We see idols being suuuuper close a lot. Key, dae hwi, and idols like them who studied in the states hv even more skinship and so hugging and stuff with friends became sorta neutral to them. And jonghyun, heechul and idols like them are, in my opinion, bi i guess. Plz dnt hate me for my opinion,.

To be so loved in such a pure form :) The kind of love most people can only imagine and wish for. Let that warmth be strength for you, Key! So much of Jonghyun’s music is about Key and then about his own struggles with depression. Jonghyun never wanted to leave, depression is the most horrid of diseases. It torments from within ceaselessly, with unbearable pain, anger, and sorrow,. For some, it’s so horrid that they need to take their own lives to have reprieve. Jonghyun has hung in there for so may years and has put so much effort into everything he touched. He did so so well, an amazing job. He is and will always be by our side with his music and kindness. Thank you also for all these wonderful videos. I hope you know how meaningful they are to all of us whether we have always been Shawols or recent ones. Thank you so much.

Beautiful 🕊❤ I do think this song is about Jonghyun, the lyrics fit perfectly. It can't be just about a relationship. I ship Shinee as brothers and best friends (all equally), and I think this is his message to his decade-long friend... "I will live for you in the way that you couldn't." Important message for me also but I won't get in to that. Btw, was nice seeing you and talking to everyone on live stream. I'm pretty isolated at home with chronic illness plus depression, so I like talking to Shawols. It's a long time away, but another live stream in April would be good. Jjong's 30th (in Korean age - I think).

Everyone has a different take on it, and I feel like it divides fans and creates tension. I'm too old to be arguing with other fans which I fear this topic can turn into... which is why I never like this topic. I don't like fan arguments. I only wanted to say the video is beautiful, whether they're seen as lovers or friends. And everyone will believe something different based on past interactions, interviews, etc. People can pinpoint different things as evidence for or against. I'll just say I've looked into them, and shipping as a whole and I'm open to whatever. I think Jonghyun and Key were closest, in what way is mostly irrelevant to me. I always like to be open-minded and the fence is always a lovely place to sit so Imma stay there. You can see everything from the fence, it's really nice. That applies to many things in life. BTW, I'm not saying you are starting an argument or anything, I'm saying I can't say anything "right" so I might end up starting a thread, a thread I never intended on this lovely tribute! I have no concrete opinion on their romantic lives, and kind of feel like their romantic lives are private and personal. I don't care if they're straight, gay, 2 members dating each other, or dating Red Velvet. I just see SHINee as my boys, my group of best friends and brothers and "community of common fate" as I think Jonghyun said. If they refer to themselves and each other as friends, family, and brothers, I stick to that.
