The look of sheer surprise on everyone’s faces, the score in the background amping everything up by a hundred fold, the shock going through your own head at what just happened, it’s all just perfect. If you were in Eren's place, a child soldier in a war that consumed your whole life, and you had the ability to protect the people you loved and cherished, would you go to those extreme lengths to save them from a horrible fate? In the end the reader determines which side they are on as there are 3 sides as we speak, but none of these sides will lead the story to a happy ending.

Zeke takes Eren on a tour of the memories he has and when he gets to the part where Grisha goes to eat the founding titan he doubts his decision, he says he can't kill children, but Eren adult starts talking to Grisha (I don't remember what he says but he convinces him to steal the founding titan) and that's when Grisha transforms. Even Grisha gets to see adult Zeke and says nice words to him (as I remember) and asks him to forgive him for everything he did to him.
