There is one more place called Agani Gudda , very near to the Abbi falls . A short trek of around an hour takes you to the summit. The view from there is absolutely magnificent. You can see tea estate on one side, farms on the other side and rugged hill ranges on the another side. Superb destination, but unknown even to many localites of Sakleshpur, Mudigere. Cover it when you visit anywhere nearby next time. I am sure you both would love it as well.

Thank you! We stayed at a friend's friend's place but there were a lot of homestays and resorts. If you don't find one in Mudigereyou can also stay in Chikmagalur. All the places we visited are close to Chikmagalur as well!

After watching this video we went to pandavara betta on 18th sep 2021 at 8.30 am morning but the forest department people at the entrance told us hiking is not allowed here as its a reserve forest.... but we heard from locals that forest department ppl came at 8am.. before that so many people have gone to the peak and returned... v went to bettada byraveshwara temple... lot of leaches here at rainy season

Nice Vlog; thank you. Have been fortunate to visit these places quite regularly for the past 6 years so; as you say the places are or were quite offbeat and were equally pristine. Saddening to see it turn into litter places. Wonder why people don’t get the point; there is no sect as such, including the educated, well to do all go about spoiling the nature unabatedly… serious issue with the attitude. I have already started to tell my little daughter ‘once upon a time it was like ….’when we visit these places now.
