Good thing the road flattened out at the bottom. This allowed him to pick up a little speed and stay off the brakes just enough. Snow or ice driving is all about momentum up or down a hill with a tractor. Avoiding the brakes and it’s nice if you have a selectable Jake brake system also. 👍👍👍👍👍

I learned to drive in a peterbuilt truck 🛻 those are one of the best if not the best trucks on the road and they have been known for their reliability and efficiency also they have power in their trucks really good trucks to drive unfortunately I took my test in an automatic transmission so I don’t get to drive in the Peterbuilt but I can always go back and take the test on the standard truck so I don’t have to have a restriction on my CDL license 🪪 I also have my Hazmat endorsement so I should be fine
