@@KaleKnight300 Most likely European countries. Otz lives in Spain and while they do grow potatoes there they aren't the Russet/Idaho variety which are used to make hash browns here in the US. There also aren't many restaurants that make hash browns, save for those in the UK. You can still make them with Eastern potato varieties but they won't have the same flavor or texture.

This makes it harder to hit left control/shift but OTOH gives more access to keys on the right. So in DBD, I bind survivor sprint to my right mouse button and tbag / killer power to F. Pretty weird.

Hey Otz, the trick to keep those hashbrowns from becoming mashed potatoes is making sure the oil is wicked hot. Itll crisp the outside before it can mush. And use more oil and do smaller batches of shredded potatoes so the oil temp doesnt drop too much. Also use a starchy potatoe instead of waxy potatoes. In the US we call them Russets but i dont know what your equivalent could be. Hope you get your hashbrowns, its my favorite food!

@Otz ive made myself hashbrowns maybe twice, but if you lets some taters soften a tiny bit in a bowl of water for maybe 10 min, then shred the potato using a large cheese grater over another bowl of clean water, this keeps it from sticking to itself, after wards its best to dry the hasbrowns if your going to pan fry them but if you just slap them in a pan the water is fine alone, nice an spread out, keep it sorta thin, and make a couple of batches per potato, they should crisp up nicely, not be greasy, and just a bit of salt as soon as the browns are out the pan
