Important things I didn't show in this video: - Killer can shoot you DIRECTLY with his gun once you're "infected" by the Slipstream and automatically teleport to you in "Overclocked" mode, which makes him faster at breaking pallets/walls, vaulting and makes stuns automatically destroy pallets (with a small speed slowdown if this happens). This is great at closing the gap and forces Survivors to be very smart with their resources. - Killer also has some robotic voicelines during some animations!

The same method is used to perform icepick lobotomies, since it takes very little force to poke through that part of the skull and into the brain.

Made for this activates when you become injured. For the people can only be used when healthy. In order for for the people to make you injured, Made For This cannot be active. Hypothetically, if For the People injures you and the heal discreetly occurs after it has injured you, it might combine, but they seem simultaneous. I don't think they would combo and if they do it would be a low stakes fix to simply make the heal occur before the player becomes injured by FTP

While the map is very hard on the eyes, i think it makes sense, especially because of the fact theyre trying to add a new category of horror into the mix. A thick and unfamilar jungle sounds amazing. The survivor ones are too freaking much with the right build we will see gens disappear in seconds. Toolkits are already insane that perk is too much. The Pocket hope perk also is insane. Then free aura read perks which while most people won't use, IS INSANE if your a team player.

The only gripe i have with this is that forced hesitation seems kind of good for proxy camping/tunneling, especially in end game (tho to me end game camping is justified) if the person unhooking gets downed after saving, the person who just got off hook (and everyone else around) is gonna suffer from the hindered effect making it easier to tunnel. i may be wrong though, otherwise i love everything about this chapter

I've got a got a feeling forced hesitation will be made into a basic attack only. Feels a little OP as a down by any means. Just imagine and Oni with discordance. Also nurse exists. Also at this remains the same it's going to be great on Bubba. Oh and scavenger needs to change. But they all look really good they just need a few minor tweaks minor emphasis on minor BHVR and they'll be pretty good. And the killer in general great cool design and a good power and brutal mori. The only problem I see with his power is placement is going to be very important kinda like trapper. It must be placed in areas where survivors were frequent like main building, shack or unfinished generators. Also I might get a bit less powerful on indoor maps. However other than that this is well its awesome. Good job Behavior you made a good one.

I have a feeling the killer is going to play a lot like the skull merchant and knight. He’ll be really good at gen defense and stalling. The mori is probably in my top 5 favorites, really hitting that rouge AI vibe with the voice. It almost reminds me of Hal 9,000 or the AI from I have no mouth but I must scream. I also really like his design and animations, definitely one of the better visual designs from the past few months. His perks seem alright, that one where they suffer from exhaustion when someone gets downed is probably gonna be used a fair bit. The survivor looks kind of bland to me personally. His perks are pretty damn strong, the mini hope and scavenger are gonna be a problem. The map hurts my eyes a little, I think it looks good but it might be annoying playing multiple times in a row. Overall, I really like this first dive into the sci-fi horror genre for the game, and I hope it won’t be the last. Maybe we’ll get a more “alien” killer later this year.

I’m playing this killer a ton on the ptb and trust me use the purple addon that infects everyone combine it with lethal you’ll have the best early game pressure you’ll ever witness then also add a few chase palet eating perks and enjoy (add deadlock or something aswell)

all i have to say about scavenger is that it takes the time to get to a chest, and complete the action of opening a chest unless running plunderers, but stake out and plunderers would make for a weaker build, so you would have to sacrifice 2 perk slots, get off your gen, run to a chest, search it, hit all great skill checks, and run back. all while avoiding the killer that may or may not have ruin or pop. so i don’t see much problem with this perk but that’s just me

You're focused on the wrong thing. No one is using Scav to find a toolbox, but to restore a toolbox you already bring with add-ons. Just to be clear, I don't think the perk is strong, but no one is concerned about finding toolboxes in chests.

either way, wether trying to find a toolbox or bringing one, taking the time to restore the toolbox is time you could have spent holding m1 on a gen, so it evens out in the end. if killers have a gen blocking perk, ruin or pop, etc. it’s going to make this even worse for the survivors who lost a ton of their progress in trying to restore their toolbox which again they are going to have to get off their gen, find a chest, hit all skillchecks, and run back to the gen, while avoiding the killer. depending on the map and if you’re running plunderers, this has to take at LEAST 20 seconds (about 22% of a gen) more or less.

Tinkerer + Machine learning seems like a good combo because it tells you when a gen in close to being finished so you can kick it, plus you get undetectable when the gen is at 70% and when its done so thats a lot of undetectable uptime

Commodious with double charges, Scavenger, Detective's Hunch, Streetwise, and Built to Last. That's ~257 charges on 1 Toolbox, at +50% repair speed. That's ~2.8 generators worth of Toolbox. And then you still have the ability to rummage a chest to find another toolbox.

Killer power is a bit confusing to watch. It feels like on some maps it will basically be impossible to do anything, if you really can't even stun Singularity out of it and it only requires him to shoot you. Genetic Limits is a bit too specific of a situation to be that good. Forced Hesitation is only hampered by its range; I can see it being a problem on specific builds and killers since it just shuts off your ability to move and encourages slugging. A lot of Cannibals will try it. Machine Learning doesn't really have a counterplay beyond trying to complete that gen and hide or just don't complete that gen. It likely won't provide much of an effect until the end of the match when choices are limited. Wouldn't be surprised to see it reigned in some, as that Haste bonus is insane. Definitely going to disagree about Soma's perks. Troubleshooter is all right, but will encourage a lot of pre-dropping since it apparently will only work within 10 seconds of a chase starting. Chases (according to the game) arbitrarily start and stop during an *actual* chase, so it may trigger multiple times otherwise? So it's either worthless or pretty good but will dictate when you're allowed to throw pallets, which is bad. Made for This is just a mobile Dark Theory, which is trash. It will be moderately okay, but a 3% speed boost even against Deathslinger or Trickster isn't going to do much for you. I think Otz is projecting Hope PTSD onto this one (rightfully), since that 6% is when you actually start to feel it. I wouldn't imagine many comp teams will burn a perk slot to double up on Hope and mini-Hope. Scavenger providing a brown toolbox is hilariously bad, but the perk should be based on replenishing charges, not percentage. This way it isn't as much of an overt gen rush perk for people with double +charge addons, and it can still benefit a brown toolbox just as easily. It doesn't even require a locker like BTL. Easily his best perk for general solo queue use. Something Otz glosses over is that you can't force skillchecks without using a toolbox, and this perk won't trigger until you're carrying an empty one anyway. So even then, not that insane but pretty good. Not healthy either since it's catering to gen rushing with charge add-ons instead of making good decisions or using any type of toolbox. I think overhyping survivor perks every chapter isn't doing us any favors when 100% of them have been trash since CoH, which itself was nerfed into total disuse.

The killer perk only lasts for thirty seconds and is tied to a specific generator, so if the survivors finish a different generator you get nothing. It's probably going to give killers on average a minute of haste over the course of the entire game, while the only limitation on the survivor perk is that you're injured and aren't exhausted. As long as you make your build with it in mind, you can easily take advantage of it for a third to half of the trial. Not to mention that haste is just inherently better on survivors than it is on killers

Genetic Limits together with Fearmonger or Blood Echo would be such an evil build. Fearmonger pauses exhaustion as long as they are touching a gen after they healed up, so they have to choose between doing gens injured and relying on their exhaustion perk, or doing gens uninjured, but not reducing their exhaustion. Blood Echo forces them to heal up to prevent longer, continuous exhaustion(as most people are capable of hooking again before the exhaustion runs out), but healing up also causes exhaustion, keeping them more easily injured. And while combining them all seems more evil, not really, as you basically fully counter their exhaustion perk, they will no longer care about exhaustion in the first place. Remember kids, its a lot easier to give survivors options to choose between than it is to force an option upon them. Just as an example: Permanent injured vs permanent exhaustion forces them to pick a playstyle and stick to it, meaning their choice could impact other players, because you remaining injured means you're a bigger target, but you being permanently exhausted means that you're forced to protect teammates who chose to remain injured. Forcing everyone to remain exhausted means they will all align playstyles and synergize through that. They will keep healing up and block you when neccesary while sitting on gens otherwise. Forcing everyone to remain injured will cause them to do as many gens as they can without being spotted.

As for Made For This, I think its going to be a lot less powerful than you think tbh. It's basically Dark Theory, but outside the range. And while Dark Theory allows some niche plays, when timed correctly, so do a lot of other perks. I think the only problem with this perk, is that it gives you the endurance effect. The 3% speed is fine, you dont really notice 3% when playing most killers. You notice Hope so much because 7% on 110% killers is pretty much the same speed, and 7% to 115% killers is basically covering twice the distance to catch up when running in a straight line(which happens in the EGC a lot). If they stick with the endurance effect, activating it should give them exhaustion untill they have been hooked or healed up. Even if it stacks with Hope, like all other haste effects do now, I dont think its that big of an issue. Power of Two and Bloodpact together can give a duo 112% running speed as long as they remain within 12 meter distance of each other. This means they can outrun most killers and as long as they stick together, they are basically uncatchable. Yet, this is never used due to the haste basically guaranteeing their teammates to be dead. As for Made For This and For The People. It wont stack. For the People doesnt stack with a lot of other perks that require you to finish healing a survivor, because For The People doesnt heal your teammate, it transfers your healthstate to your teammate.

As someone who only plays this game in bursts, all I have to say about Made for This and Scavenger is that if they arent heavily nerfed/reworked entirely before live, thats a solid nope until next chapter for this game again. Gen rushing and holding W are already enough of a problem. It is genuinely baffling how unspeakably braindead behaviour would have to be to think those perks are ok.
