Well yes but no It takes 3 shrieker calls to increase your warning level to spawn the warden, but after that point every shrieker call has a high chance of summoning another warden It takes about 10 minutes to decrease this warning level

This would make a really nice series, I think; my only criticism for a 200 days would be to try and incorporate more end city blocks into your village; from a realism perspective, wood is too precious to use for building, and there’s just so much stone around to scavenge and build with lol. It would also make the village stand out less to those raiders, if the buildings all looked the same as the ruins

A trick I discovered for anyone wanting to avoid a Warden, redstone sound contraptions can infinitely distract a Warden. Simply have 2 observers look at each other to generate a repeating redstone tick and place a note block on either side. The Warden will stay near the note blocks and ignore you! So long as you don't make noise. Also I didn't test attacking it while it's distracted. I mostly tested this as a method for a safe getaway.

It was likely created by a data packs that adds a custom dimension, which has the structure generation altered in such a way that makes the ancient cities generate... well... like that.

Tips if/when your in an ancient city: Always bring wool with you (at least 2 stacks) Bring night vision potions since they are more effective than torches Cover the shriekers with wool since they can’t “scream” if they are fully covered with wool around them If you spawn the warden run away from it since when it’s spawning it can’t smell you and probably kill you Bring something to throw like arrows/eggs or snowballs and only throw them if u actually need to.the warden will dispawn in 60 seconds if there’s no more vibration Hope this helps :>

Future reference. Just cover the shreakers in wool. Wool doesn't set off sensors and will stop the shreakers from hearing the sensors so no wardens

They really did fumble the bag when it came to the warden, not making him drop some crazy cool trophy or useful armor or anything. I think minecraft adding some optional quest like story or objectives would be huge with more of these biomes and mobs being added

they didn't fumble anything it's intentional game design to sometimes have an insanely hard to kill enemy that gives you very little to no benefit in killing to discourage the player from attempting to do so.

The whole point of the Warden is that you're not supposed to fight it. The idea is that it's a boss mob you want to avoid instead of fighting, and so Mojang didn't want to incentivize players to kill it by giving it good loot. I'm pretty sure they said that exact thing multiple times during 1.19's development. Also if you're playing on Java, I reccomend installing the More Mob Heads Datapack from Vanilla Tweaks. Then when you kill a Warden it'll drop its head. There you go, cool trophy!
