I still have questions about Freeman as a coach but it's great to see how the school has embraced him. New facilities, a willingness to be flexible with scheduling tests, and paying for top coordinators. That stuff doesn't happen if Kelly was still here.

I still have questions as to whether Freeman can get these players to focus against vastly inferior opponents. As much as the NIU game served to motivate them the rest of the way, that loss should've never happened and is still inexcusable to me. Any FBS team can give you a fight on any given weekend but losing to MAC teams in 2 out of your first 3 years? Just leaves a bad taste.

@@ericguerra7319Would you prefer going undefeated against unranked teams and lose to good teams, or would you like to beat a high percentage of both ranked and unranked teams? I’m going high percentage for both instead of the first choice. The first choice was Kelly

@@ericguerra7319I have a feeling that’s not going to happen again. I think he lost focus too and thought his team should just go in there dominate NIU. Of course he’s gonna have to prove again that it’s not going to happen again.
