Notre Dame and Tennessee played game 1 of the Knoxville Super Regional in the 2022 College Baseball Season. Super Regionals are a best of 3 series.

We had a kid in our district that threw 95mph in high school. I remember everyone talking about how he was going to shut us out. He threw flat and down the middle. Once we all got an at bat in we roped his ass. Beat them 12-2 scored 12 runs in the first 3 innings on him and they put in a kid who threw 70 with junk and he K’d us the rest of the jught

I was honestly a fan of Tennessee for a while until this game. Watching their fans boo strikes right down the middle and clear outs, while throwing trash on the field made me lose all respect for their team and fan base. It’s interesting how quickly a seemingly fun-loving and respectful team and fan base can turn incredibly nasty as soon as they get down in a situation they expect to win. Doesnt matter you arent and can not turn around curse at the umpire in the middle of the at bat and show him up. Ump is completely justified for tossing him. You want to argue balls and strikes and say something that's fine but the moment you turn around in front of everyone and curse at the umpire saying "that's fcking terrible...that's fcking horrible" you are gone. Then dumb ass then acts surprised as to why he got tossed lmfaoooo. The minute you make a scene and show up the umpire you are done. I think Gilbert is a great ball player but he is a cocky arrogant mf. Thats fine when you can back it up like he does but you better keep that same energy through wins and losses. He is a sore looser and throws a tantrum just like he did when things don't go his way. I truly think his attitude is going to give him problems down the line when he gets drafted. Wish the guy the best though.
