Ohio State has to be the favorite to win it all, as much as I hate that possibility. That said, Oregon and Tennessee didn't have what ND has. Neither have good secondaries, Oregon especially has been abysmal in the back end all year. ND's secondary is ELITE. Even without All-American Ben Morrison and Jaden Mickey, they've just kept chugging along. Moore and Gray have been an absolute tandem at corner, and while Watts gets all the praise, and justifiably so, Adon Shuler has been right there with him in terms of being an elite safety. And again, despite injuries up front, ND's front 7 has been excellent. You lose Rylie Mills, Jordan Botelho, Boubacar Traore and Jason Onye, and they just keep chugging along like it's nothing. Cross, Hinish, Rubio, Junior, Burnham, Oben and even freshman stud Bryce Young (even though he was bad early in the UGA game), all made huge plays up front against a bigger Georgia OL.

I am surprised everyone is still paying attention to Finebaum. But for ESPN no one would give him a mic given his partisan thoughts and shallow comments. Joel Klatt, Dan Patrick, Colin Cowherd all have a lot of depth in their analysis and comments. Finebaum just has an opinion and in most cases is an echo chamber of the latest comments from someone else.
