Legit fascinated by this - I can totally imagine there being a plan to have Eleanor cross from the books to the games, and for her to be Vanny. I've seen other theories involving the visual effects that we see when she's around that could imply the illusion disc... but then, because nothing really comes of it, it seems kinda pointless. But if the idea was that she was actually going to be Eleanor, it'd kinda make sense. Obviously the big problem here is that connecting a game that felt like a soft reboot of the franchise to a bunch of books most people won't have read is going to be confusing for most people, so if this was the idea, I think ditching it was definitely the right call.

Based on the stuff with Bonnie and Glitchtrap you pointed out: What if Glitchtrap first took over Bonnie as Burntrap 1.0, but ended up getting caught doing something shady by Monty, a struggle ensued leading to Bonnie’s demise. Vanny covers it up because she needs to keep the whole Glitchtrap thing on the DL, especially if the all staff meeting hasn’t occurred yet. This would allow for the Monty redemption some people are looking for without an elaborate frame job that just gets covered up anyway. Instead it was self defense, but they still need to cover it up. Monty’s moodiness is then a kind of guilt for benefitting from an accident he wish never happened.
@auriolly7 ай бұрын
I like this a lot! I think it gives both Bonnie and Monty a lot of depth that they just… aren’t provided by the common fandom narrative. I do always like to note that the room Bonnie was found in included a static ball rack (meaning, the balls on the rack had to have been there since Bonnie was hidden, unless Vanny was in the room later and decided to add/remove bowling balls, for some reason) and one of the bowling balls was of Monty… using his glamrock design (including the glasses). Which, to me, implies that even if Monty killed Bonnie, he was already in the band at the time. Whether he’d replaced Bonnie or was just added as a fifth member is obviously unknown. I think that really kinda gets rid of his motivation if you look at it from the “cold blooded killer” angle, so I really like the idea that it was a mercy kill or to keep Glitchtrap from spreading!
@SnarkyTeaSipper5 ай бұрын
That is exactly the thought I had looking at this storyline. Because if Bonnie was merely an innocent bystander and had no strings attached, then the staff could chalk up Bonnie getting broken as merely being an accident, and then he can get either fixed up or fitted a new endoskeleton. After all, all those endoskeletons have to have a purpose rather than just a gameplay obstacle. But the reason why they don’t do that, and have Monty replace him instead, could hint that Bonnie was indeed sinister. Whether Vanessa/ Vanny tried to hide the evidence, or the staff saw something themselves, it’s hard to say. Needless to say, every time Fazbear Entertainment removes a character from the public eye, it’s mostly down to either a fatal accident or being outwardly hostile to the public (see Fredbear and the Toys). Foxy from FNAF 1 is known for being tatty and broken, but he’s still kept around despite that. Mangle is in a far worse shape than any other animatronic, but because it doesn’t harm anyone (until the ending of FNAF 2), its kept around. It would also give more weight to both Vanny and Bonnie’s involvement in the story rather than just “obligatory bunny that only looks important but actually isn’t” Also, a more joking side note, it was Bonnie was wandering around by himself in the middle of the night and entering at Monty Golf at 4am, not Monty breaking into Bonnie Bowl to axe him off. Monty could probably see that as a home invasion in the early hours of the morning, as he doesn’t have a dressing room to live in.

You can't even argue that they took Bonnies endo hands directly and put them onto Monty since he 1) clearly still has his endo skeleton underneath his hands and 2) even if, for SOME REASON, they replaced his endo hands with a different, equally broken pair just to put them onto a broken Bot, his exoskeleton aka shell would have holes at the tips of his fingers to let the claws through. Which he doesn't. So Steel Wool forgot the most important detail about Bonnies Design when actually making his model. Amazing Job, guys /s

What I think. 1. If the theory of us playing as Cassie’s dad is true perhaps the what makes you so special line could be indicating that were we their and responsible for starting the beginning of the fazbear horrors during the bite of 83, also if the theory of Cassie’s dad being Jeremy Fitzgerald is also true than he was most likely the victim of the bite of 87 in which he lost his frontal lobe but somehow survived, and if Jeremy was their during the beginning if he was friends with Michael than perhaps he knew Elizabeth and learned what happened to her, he may have also been a technician at circus baby’s entertainment and rental to try and investigate what was happening. 2. Also i was under the belief that Eleanor was just a haunted animatronic with the agony of Elizabeth afton. 3. I’m also under the belief that burntrap is just a mimic variant that glitchtrap uses as a physical host body, also if the books are canon to the games I believe that the body on burntrap is a young man named luca who dies in a springtrap costume with springlocks. 4. I also believe that William afton created glitchtrap by training it off of himself in case anything ever happens to him so their would technically be another version of himself around, then the circuit boards with the glitchtrap virus were found by fazbear entertainment llc and used for many things. 5. Im pretty sure Elizabeth is ginger haired. 6. If it were up to me what I would’ve done with Vanessa and vanny is instead of making them the same person directly I would have Vanny be a digital character (much like glitchtrap and MXES) and have her possess Vanessa’s body through her VANNI mask, that way they would be separate people despite sharing the same body, we would also have Vanessa as a ally and friend to Gregory while unaware that she’s possessed, also vanny would only be able to be in control for 1 hour a day and we still have to play the process quest games to save/free her, but the only way to permanently destroy her is to fully get rid of the glitchtrap virus and destroy her mask.

If I’m being really honest, I think we should’ve ignored the books as a whole when it came to character backgrounds, it just muddles things. Often I feel the FNAF community uses the books way too often for things that don’t always fit well, and it leads to confusion and discord when things don’t quite line up in the games, not to mention it perpetuated the idea that Scott is a horrible writer when he hasn’t personally written any of the books as far as I’m aware. So much of the current confusion could be dropped if we just mainly went off what happens in the games and just that, without trying to add in extra character info from the books, it would’ve kept the vibe of the games mysterious and allowed Scott and Steel Wool to drip feed character info when they wanted. Side note, I believe the Candy Cadet story about the woman growing up and facing the witch again is talking about Cassie’s dad. Jeremy once faced glitch trap before as stated in Help Wanted, (and if we go by the theory that he’s the Bonnie Bully, he’s had a history with the franchise as a whole since he was little.) then after the Help Wanted incident he comes back a few years later to fix things up and face the issues happening at the Pizzaplex personally, only for him to end up trapped by Glitch Trap once and for all. All the details fit perfectly aside from gender, which can be dismissed if this story is just a metaphor.

14:17 No hate intended. But the Mimic is Glitch trap theory is that the chip that contained Afton's consciousness (Glitch Trap) is inserted into the Mimic by Vannessa (fully corrupted by Glitch Trap) and that behavior is like mega inserted into his programming. Other than that solid theory!

I think an important note about the idea of Mimic learning 'Hide and Seek' from Pizza Party in Help Wanted, is that the SpringbonnieMan (as he's called in the files of the game) that appears in Pizza Party is NOT the Glitchtrap anomaly we have slowly been piecing together with the tapes throughout the rest of the game. The Spring Bonnie that appears in Pizza Party is an actual part of the game and that level. How do I know? Because he's completely whole and visible. At that point in the game when the player is going through Pizza Party, they haven't collected the last tape and Glitchtrap is not whole, hence why he still appears green and odd looking in the hub world, so how could he just magically appear normally in Pizza Party? He can't because that's not him, that's the character the anomaly is taking the form of/copying. I usually think of it this way, the Mimic1 program copied the behavior of the Spring Bonnie character that was meant to be as part of the game in Pizza Party, including its appearence. Thus, Glitchtrap was born. And because I know some people will say it, tape girl mentions she doesn't recognize Glitchtrap when she first sees him during the tapes, so then how could the "SpringbonnieMan" be an actual part of the game if tape girl didn't recognize Glitchtrap when she first encountered him. Well, for starters, Glitchtrap tends to appear in abnormal and glitchy ways majority of the time, and secondly, its because she hadn't gotten to Pizza Party yet, she wasn't that far into the game. She specifically mentions in the tape where she talks about her first encounter with Glitchtrap, she mentions he was looking into the window of the office and 'not like Chica or Bonnie would' meaning that she was only playing the FNAF 1 section when she first encountered him. Pizza Party is a weird mixture of everything in the game just as much as every other level is in the Nightmare mode of Help Wanted. Every level in Nightmare mode is meant to look creepy and abnormal, Pizza Party is no exception. Plus, the games credits and Handunit congratulates us on completing the Freddy Fazbear Virtual Experience only after we have completed Pizza Party, meaning that its meant to be part of the experience. Which makes sense, as its meant to dispel the biggest stain to Fazbear Entertainment's name, the murders of the missing children. I think there is something to be said, its that there is two different Mimics that are terrorizing the Pizzaplex in the books, the program/'virus' and the actually Mimic endo locked in the basement. I pretty sure its a similar situation with the games Mimic, hence why Helpi/Helptrap and Grimic have their little argument in Ruin and why the Mimic endo is around even after Glitchtrap has been squashed. But anyways, thats my two sense.

I feel like I havent seen any creativity come out of the fnaf story jn a long time. We keep dancing around the same events and plots, even if its supposed to help fill in the gaps in the main story its starting to feel stale. The same character under diffrent names, constant return to afton and his family/victims. I feel like the fnaf universe has so much potential for other stories and characters that arent even being considered. We can even look at the other characters involved in the main story like the first 5 victims or any later victims. They all have potential. I dont think it will ever happen but it would be interesting to explore the world of fnaf from a diffrent perspective and with a different focus rather than the killer

I have an idea: Glitchtrap may be the MIMIC1 Program's reconstruction of "The Purple Guy" by mimicking what is contained within the scrapped robot's scanned metal; their metal containing their Remnant: Remnant contains memories and emotions and, as such, this all mixes together to form "The Afton Amalgamation" if you will, an amalgamation of every victim and every entities' beliefs and memories of William. William himself likely finds a way to attach to it in some way due to either being connected to it, the program realising they're the same guy, or because of it containing some of his own Remnant.
@tartra4 ай бұрын
14:30 So this is interesting! Glitchtrap came from hardware that Fazbear provided, and the Pizzaplex was built on top of the FNaF 6 location. You know: the location with a giant, amalgamated blob of melted hardware that Henry trapped in an oven. Which *included* Scraptrap, but also included Molten Freddy, Scrap Baby, and apparently the original animatronics too. ... So is *that* what got uploaded to become Glitchtrap? 15:55 and if the Blob includes the original animatronics (or even the Toy ones), then what got uploaded to Glitchtrap is that "shield face with arm" thing *from* Bonnie. That was a telltale coincidence proving everything from that pile became Glitchtrap, because it was an intentional part of Bonnie *and* Glamrock Bonnie. And I mention the Toys because I saw your video about Toy Bonnie and got sad :( Maybe he lives on in Glitchtrap after being uploaded from the Blob's burnt remains

This has nothing to do with this video but I still feel like Sun/Moon's body class type still looks like an upgraded version of the Mimic's body class type. Super lanky and slender arms and legs. Similar teeth plates. And are all very flexible and/or can shape shift. The main difference between them is that Sun/Moon's head/face plate is more tablet-like hence why I say it's an upgrade. If it ever came down to the Sun/Moon being built in something's image, I wouldn't be surprised if they were built after the Mimic's body type. There's still a possibility of the Mimic also being from Circus Baby's Pizza World as well and the same goes for Sun/Moon. Who knows 🤷🏽♀️

I'm just going to posit one thing that nobody seems to be talking about... *MXES is a smiling purple rabbit that controls animatronics and exists only in the digital space. He repeatedly places digital rabbit icons all over and looms over you, even when he could directly attack (send someone to get you) while generally acting creepy. He also is generally antagonistic towards the Mimic and Cassie and is stationed near the Burntrap arena.* I'm not saying Glitchtrap, the other purple digital rabbit, is MXES, and therefore a manifestation of Afton, I'm just saying that it's real odd how MXES has the exact same abilities, behaviors, color scheme, and rabbit motif as him, while Mimic doesn't have any whatsoever.

Speaking of lore, I wondered about you doing a discussion across each 8-bit sequence across the games, or at the very least, Princess Quest. Eleanor isn't Baby? I can get behind that. Really bugged me through Matpat's '21 Frights coverage where he just outright called her Baby. I'd say she's Frights' equivalent in its weird way, but not much more. I've seen that Fury's Rage silhouette debated to be Sexy Baby or Scrap Baby or maybe some other 3rd thing. While Stage 2 likely foreshadowed 6's Pizza Place under the megaplex, I don't know about this one... In addition to the mushrooms, I also saw the reddish lake compared to Old Man Consequences'. I'll call it a writing oopsie. I'm already getting baffled... What's weird is that Ruin has a totally different hallway before Bonnie Bowl's ice cream storage, rather Vanny's room shown afterwards. (Though what bugs me more is Gator Golf looking lowered down) I more lean on Elizabeth being orange while considering the graphic novel a slip-up (they made Cassidy brown instead of black). On top of that, Foxy bro looks like he has black hair during the Bite, but SL Mike's is brown like CC's. And eyes - Elizabeth's are green, SL Mike's look bluish, CC's was thought to be either of these before the Encyclopedia did brown (though I say it was pulled off of Gregory's model like the knee bandaid). Well, we didn't even have a Circus Baby in SL's office sequences (aside from Ennard). HW2 takes the names of the Puppet Master and Funtime Gang challenges, using the humanoids and Fazbear adjacent characters (plus Chica) leaving Baby with her own thing. I'm already stumped off that explanation. 666 + 87 ...or 83 GF, TOH and Bendy each have 618, 128 and 414, I'm not sure on a three digit number for fnaf... 26:19 Heh, I'm making a big chart like this consisting of 4 Afton's, both Emily's and the Missing 5. The SB column is bound to be a doozy.

I think you touched on it lightly in this video. But security breach is unfortunately the worst entry that happened to the lore. because it got rushed, it generated a TON of the weird contradictions and issues that now plague the fanbase as a whole. To the point that they pushed a story patch in the form of ruin. Maybe if it wasn't rushed, things could have been more neatly telegraphed/explained, but alas!

Wow, you packed a lot of information in those 26 minutes. Well done on unpacking that web of connections, it's honestly made me reevaluate my own thoughts on this whole thing. You're probably right about the connections stemming from Circus Baby's role being repurposed but I think one of these pieces is not like the others. Although I can definitely see The Mimic being an evolution of some of the ideas around Eleanor, in execution, that endoskeleton is about as far removed from William, Baby or Vanny that you can get. Its AI is purely based on what it's observed and presumably because of this it seems to always be thinking in the present and dealing with its immediate situation. Its shape shifting doesn't rely on illusion discs or remnant, it can just violate the laws of physics to contort its body into whatever shapes its needs and is incredibly modular. The only real aspect of it that's tied to the supernatural is its desire to kill people it comes into contact with. I'll have to take another look at this tomorrow but for now I do wonder if The Mimic is just an attempt to move away from this complex web of connections with agony beings and William's lackeys to a more simple villain, maybe because of Security Breach's troubled development and large scope instead of a retcon or clarification of what Glitchtrap is.

This is why I’ve slowly distanced myself from FNAF itself and started spending more time with its “fan-made spin-offs.” At least when the writing is bad on The Sun and Moon Show I know enough about what’s going on to actually tell
@gameslayer39768 ай бұрын
Oh- and because there’s an entire book about how Agony likes to latch onto artificial intelligences and corrupt them. Due to HW2 giving Glitchtrap Afton’s memories, but then said “screw it- Glitchtrap is Helpi now and will be called Helptrap from here on out.” With Helpi appearing next with no Afton persona, but a significant use of purple veins. I believe that since Fazbear used the Mimic1 commonly for story generation, and was confirmed to have removed the salvaged animatronics from FNAF6 prior to Security Breach- why wasn’t the old circuit board junk mentioned by Tape Girl just from Afton’s suit. It was used for pathfinding, which isn’t uniquely mimic- and further more spawned in a weird rabbit entity that didn’t really look like Afton but got the basics right- whole still retaining the mimic tears, drool, and felt costume getup(not to mention it speaks in Tape Girl’s slowed down voice). So yea- maybe just Mimic and Afton can coexist until HW2 happens, when the memories making the Mimic Glitchtrap got destroyed by Jeremy, and his persona was crushed by Vanny?

I think the "1st" game of H&S is literally from the mimic story where a crew of fazbear recovery teams go to Edwin's warehouse to get the suits and the mimic itself. Where in the story, it hides and seeks each of the recovery crew staff killing then all.
@OriginRatious8 ай бұрын
The Mimic1 is likely an AI that learned from the Funtimes if it wasn't apart of them. In the Funtimes' blueprints, you can see that Foxy and Ballora were made to lure children/parents away for Freddy and Baby to kill them. It also learned about William's evil deeds, and eventually became Glitchtrap. It is the perfect example of "bad data, bad results", which is often said throughout Game Theory's videos on the issue between Glitchtrap and the Mimic. This is supported by the Endo Warehouse level in Help Wanted 2: by matching incorrect scenarios, you're teaching the endo bad data, which could result in casualties related to Fazbear Entertainment if gone unchecked. Helptrap is also this Mimic AI, making both Grimic and the AI the Mimic, but they aren't the same entity, explaining the line when MXES gets temporarily deleted. Another thing, throughout Help Wanted 2, the tips from Helpi on the screen (it is spelled with an "I", this is important) is spelled the same as Helpi in the Vanni network, connecting to Helptrap. Glitchtrap also appears multiple times throughout Help Wanted 2, which could be a coincidence, but those are fairly rare in the FNAF franchise, connecting Helpi, Helptrap, the Mimic, and Glitchtrap further. This is personally what I believe, and it could be wrong, but there is quite a bit of evidence on it.

On the Mimic stuff: every time something is uploaded and downloaded, it’s making copies. It’s unlikely there is only one Mimic program (there is also hints of a line Mimic endos, which makes things more confusing). As for how any version ‘learned’ about Afton, the combination of knowing details that only Afton (or someone that knew him better than based on the company line/stories about him) would know, and the drive to actually create a new Afton family, would indicate more than just mimicry. This version of the Mimic was given a task. My guess is that before going to the Simulator, Afton set up Glitchtrap as a contingency plan that, thanks to its advanced AI, could adapt and execute without him. He knew he was walking into a trap after all.

I always thought it could be possible that the Baby/Mimic endo connections could be way deeper than surface-level. In FNaF World, we meet Baby’s creator, whom she kills, and definitely isn’t Afton. I know it might not exactly be 1-to-1 canon, but the fact that she so explicitly wasn’t made by Afton was always weird to me, and now that we have Edwin from the books and his Mimic endo he that made which is in the games, it makes me wonder if he made the funtimes, as a sort of “2.0” for the Mimic endo. I mean, they’re made almost entirely of weird tubes that can twist and contort themselves to fit any animatronic shell (or human skin, sorry Mike), and even tangle themselves together and then separate as they see fit. It feels like the same general ideas went into them, just executed in a more advanced way, plus there’s the whole “funtimes actually having an AI that can learn” thing, which is basically the same thing the Mimic1 AI program does. It makes me wonder if the reason the funtimes are so prominent in HW2 is because we’re supposed to be drawing a big connection here

tbh, with the reveal that circus baby's is ancient, with mimic being down next to carnival costumes.... it would actually MAKE SENSE that mimic is OLD CIRCUS BABY!!! or well, predecessor at least, may not be "baby" exactly....but it IS supposed to be wearing a "jester costume", and I don't think there's any more direct links than that, short of calling it the same thing, lol...I wouldn't be surprised if in the next game we found out that the old mimic was indeed the original "circus baby", which explains WHY the new baby has the mimic chip, and it explains WHY the new baby is SO GOOD AT MIMICKING, it's because she's based on THE mimic, it's also very likely that is the only reason "ennard" managed to squeeze into, and control micheael in the first place, because of the residual knowledge on how to wear different suits, since y'know...afterwards, "the blob" ends up as a big shapeless pile of junk, with the baby gone....
