In the Wolf episode, he WAS a part of the dance line. His talent wasn't overlooked there--he was heartbroken and cried over SKZ placing 4th or 5th bc his voice cracked, and the judges called attention to it in their criticism. Changbin said he found him in the kitchen crying over it at night, and his teammates were determined to make him see he was worth it. With Hyu jin out, they needed a third to fill in, and Jeongin was more than willing to train, like always.

3:45 to answer your question you need a crap ton of athleticism in order to dance especially if your learning full songs and shows of choreography. I mean a lot of competitive studios require dancers to spend like five hours a day training every day of the week if not more and that's all strength training, technique, and cleaning choreography - and that's just studio competition teams which are usually kids and teenagers that are not even to the level of training and rehearsing professional dancers do. While a dancer might not necessarily be as good at other sports that does not mean they aren't athletic, that would be like saying Michael Phelps isn't athletic since he isn't a good soccer player or something. Dance is an intense sport and requires a lot of hard training, I would love to see people who claim otherwise to take a professional level ballet class or try to just learn a single sing worth of choreography from a broadway musical.

Idk what is your meaning of athleticism I am a dancer and I can easily dance for 2-3 hours but I can't even run for 30 min😂😂😂 It also depends on genres and dance style And in dancing we learn how to control our energy where to use and where to save Yes and I personally think that felix footworks are the best in skz In danceracha every member has their own specialty and felix's specialty is footwork💙💙

I wouldn’t say you HAVE to be athletic to be a dancer. It HELPS like A LOT lol but I’m a dancer and I’m definitely not anywhere near as athletic as I used to be. I’m also self taught by watching and imitating. Athleticism is only really a thing if you’re doing like expert choreography like these guys. I’d say if anything you HAVE to have stamina.
