One minute they go "How dare the koreans complain about an idol swearing! They're human too!" while in the next they go "Boycott X, Y, and Z for drinking the wrong coffee brand!". The concept of "problematic idols" does not exist, it was made up as an excuse to hate. The only actually problematic idols are the actual criminals. I hope idols end up swimming in enough money so that each can buy themselves machines that erase the trauma their “fans” and the internet provide them 24/7. My brain has gotten so many endorphins and happy hits of chemicals thanks to kpop the last few years. The music from these people and their mvs have no kidding saved me from dark times.
