Actually Jackson started changing his "image" from like a "funny guy" to an actual musician in 2017. Because it was also the year when he started his Team Wang. And I can understand him. Koreans know him because of all those variety shows, but they think he's some sort of comedian, they don't even know he's making music or that he's part of GOT7. So he stopped doing variety shows whatsover to let all of them know that he's something more than a "funny guy". Now, knowing about his mental state and depression, I'm even more glad that he doesn't force himself to pretend to be always happy. He's naturally funny but I guess it must be exhausting to be seen as a comedian when all you want is to pursue your music career and bring more music to people. Either way, he's still our energy and he still gives us reasons to smile. But now, it's different than before. :)

moreover Jackson was in depression from 2017 to 2018.....but now he is definitely happy and back to normal...but he still wants people to recognize him for his music talents...not his funny side

Xylia That was in the past girl, at what time you stayed... Now EVERYONE knows that Jackson is one of the most important artists of the kpop. Korea assimilated that he was not just a funny boy and has given him his place as a star. Everyone knows him, only the group is still unknown to Korea. It's true, now he is different because he has matured, we all do it ... it is part of life.

Additional info... Yes Jackson thought BBang was under JYP, but his email in reply regarding the audition to also have SM in it 🤣🤣🤣🤣 so in conclusion, Jackson use SM name in his email sent video for audition to JYP perform BigBang song when he thought BBang under JYP 🤣🤣🤣

Jackson holds grudges as a joke. Like he jokes about being angry with Youngjae but he’s not that mad. He’s calmed down since debut and when he jokes he pulls a straight face and in the past he’d laugh after saying things but now he jokes with a straight face and all he will do to show he’s joking is his lips will tilt and not everyone can see he’s joking 🙃

Yep, he's quieter than before.. He mentioned that people only see me as a funny guy, i want them to know my other side (his music) too. And 2017 was hard for us ahgases,jackys n him, he got so much hate for no reason. I just wanna tell you guys the fact that im in to got7 till now is because of Jackson, I watched the ‘ROOMMATE’ season 2 that Jackson was one of the members . That show was hillarious as hell, jackson was funny tho. Super funny. And I love Jackson since he cried over his Christmas gift that JYP gave him which was the gift was his Mom . And that was so touched my heart. And the purpose of the hosts of that show is to get a certain response from the guest that would make it seem controversial but is actually just a set up for a joke. Some of the old channels used to take other people’s videos and put them together to make a compilation so some clips are repeated. They used to get called out a lot of stealing people’s vids and then putting their own logo on it. But yeah. That’s probs why some clips are repeated 🤷‍♀️
