JEONGWOO is really for vocals position. What was meant by "he only learned how to sing at yg" - - he only had formal vocal training at yg. Prior to that he only knew he can sing, got the beautiful voice but didn't know techniques, and that he loves to sing. So he enrolled in a voice academy but only 2 days there, his teacher suggested he auditions for yg since yg happened to be scouting nationwide for talents and came to the academy where jeongwoo and junghwan were enrolled. Then he easily passed. That's why instead of learning at the academy, he learned at yg as a trainee instead.

It's impressive for Jeongwoo to sing like that at such a young age to me because around those years, teenage voices have a lot of cracks. Voice cracks happen often, which makes it harder to control your tone and stability. Which is why Jeongwoo singing in such a strong way was impressive to most ^^

jeongwoo got in bcs of his voice bcs he was advised to audition after 2 vocal lessons as he impressed his teacher, he clearly impressed ppl there too bcs he got in without knowing the techniqueor basics, that's what they mean by "learning in YG" he knew little to nothing about dance when he got in yg either

When I watched Treasure Box, a YG staff stated that whenever they do street casting the potential trainee’s visuals comes into play since they won’t be able to know talent just by approaching random strangers. They say that it can eventually be learned under they program and if there’s no progress they can just let them go. In the case of Yedam he won a talent competition which led to him being admitted. Of course YG also does open audition in which talent is the deciding factor. YG employs different tactics with their recruitment process.

If they see potential on you, u can possibly got in in yg. thats why jeongwoo become a trainee. Jeongwoo said that he had a vocal lesson for 2 days, his vocal coach said to him to audition to YG probably because he's great. I mean, would your vocal coach say to you to audition for a company(not to mention its YG) just after 2 days of vocal lesson if you're not good enough?

You guys were too distracted on Jeongwoo's part. If you would have watch then you would have seen it says Jeongwoo learned how to sing in 2 days before joining YG. It doesn't mean he doesn't know how to sing. He does but being a singer means they need to know how to control their voice, technique etc but what Hyunsuk mean is he learned in YG given proper training as professional. Back story- Jeongwoo has a good voice so his teacher suggested him to audition in YG which he why he learned singing in 2 days to audition and he passed on all the evaluation that's how he got into YG. Since his vocal was too good. YG staffs decided to put him in Treasure Box .

Thank you so much for the reactions I'm looking forward to many reactions in the future 🙏😇.But I want to tell about jeongwoo 😁 he's one of the Treasure members who is popular with a lot of fanboys,everyone knows he's the favorite dance teacher Even everyone knows YSL(YG dance performance director) is Jeongwoo's fanboy. He even became one of Treasure's main vocals(bang yedam & park Jeongwoo). He is also king sold out all his products, merchandise, photo cards, even woopy (treasure doll in collaboration with line friends) Always sold out first in a few minutes and even woopy sold out in 43 seconds. he is also the mood booster of the group,he was the top student in junior high school in Iksan and now he is also the top student in high school (SOPA). He has good English pronunciation. He has participated in debate competitions abroad when he was in elementary school and even participated in an exchange student to Australia.
