Explanation of the pun that you didn't get: so dumbfounded in Korean is "oyee opda" (romanised) but "oyee" also means cucumber and "opda" also means to not have. So they were talking about being dumbfounded (oyee opda) about something happening or whatever and Mark comes and says "oyee eesseo"(romanised ofc) which means "there is cucumber"(keep in mind they weren't talking about cucumbers at all😂) so basically it's a play on words and their reaction was this:😐😐😐😐😐😑😑

Decoding the terms that are unfamiliar: VISUAL - the one whose looks stands out more than the others. They usually are the ones that catches your eyes first because they're truly handsome/pretty. FACE OF THE GROUP - the ones that come out on shows the most. They usually become the representative of their group and are the first ones recognized by people since they went on shows a lot. For music I have no clue what genre you like so I’ll just suggest my fav popular tracks of theirs I like Just Right, If You Do, Lullaby, I Won’t Let You Go (this is a Japanese release and they’re stricter with these reactions, but I love the song so I hope you do find a way), one and only you, stop stop it, my swagger, rewind (one of my favs and you liked it in the vid so, also this doesn’t have a vid but their stage performance was great plus check out the actual lyrics), Jackson’s song dawn of us (you also seemed to like this song so I’m listing it here). I also think you should listen to their songs on their present you album, each member had a mini video for their solo songs and every members songs show a different color/ vibe of the group (you saw part of their solo songs as introductions to the members in this guide, they had lullaby translated in English, Spanish, Korean and Chinese. I usually don't write long comments under these type of videos unless the person/people are well, WORTHY of it. I find that you guys seem to be into got7, and I hope you will continue to learn about and react to them. so, this is a brief (and long) history lesson to all things got7. everything a fan should know, and some helpful facts to make your journey through getting to know them easy, and enjoyable. Please, bear with me haha. fandom name : ahgase/igot7. ahgase (ahh-gah-seh) means baby bird in korean, and igot7 is just a play on that word. but ahgase is a more frequently used term. the fandom color is green :) to preface, got7 is a 5 year group, and probably one of the funniest people you will ever stan. and trust me, this isn't bias. even people outside of the fandom find them hilarious. but despite being known for their bright personalities, they are all individually talented. their past albums have had many tracks that the members wrote and (sometimes) composed themselves, as you guys saw in the video. they have two FULL self-composed albums, meaning the title track (the track that gets the MV and most promotion) was written by a member. the songs were 'you are' and 'look', both written by the group's leader, Im Jaebeom. their discography is a rather versatile one. But to be more specific, most songs are influenced by r&b, house and hip hop. (more speaking towards b-sides rather than older title tracks) note that only recently the title tracks that got7 have been coming out with fit their sound, and is more of the 'got7 sound' rather than tracks you will hear like 'hard carry' or 'never ever'. you'll know what I mean when you hear those songs compared to what they are putting out now. Got7 are unfortunately not as popular in korea, but in the united states they are very popular. each member can speak english fairly well, some better than others. nonetheless, they have a good amount of knowledge to speak. (they have quite a few interviews out from their tour last summer) anyways, I think you guys know about the members. I'll include info you don't know about them, so it won't be ALL personality based. im jaebeom (jeh-bum), Leader, Main Vocalist, Lead Dancer. Knows how to B-boy, very artsy and likes to take pictures. he owns about 6 cats, we don't know what half of them look like lmao anyways. he has a soundcloud where he releases his own solo music. under the alias 'def'(used to be defsoul but he shortened it), he has released three mixtapes on there. very r&b influenced. infamous for getting a mullet and pulling that shit off. ok he's not infamous for that, but he is a good leader. great leader. no, fantastic leader. mark tuan, oldest, Main rapper, lead dancer, visual was born in America. Los Angeles baby, with taiwanese descent. So yes, he does speak english, and can speak cantonese (could be mandarin, I partially don't know that info to specifics.) he has a very youthful face, so you'll easily recognize him. he used to do martial arts for the group but stopped recently since he is more at risk for injury. but he still remains an athletic member. he has been in many magazine shoots. I mean, what can I say, he's got the model profile. note, he is 27 and looks 21, it's crazy. jackson wang, lead rapper, lead dancer lol ya'll know him. loud, enthusiastic etc. but he can also be very calm and collected, so don't label him JUST that. he has many other factors about him that make him great. he's talked about his before. anyways, jackson gave up his whole life to become an idol. before his debut, he had the perfect life planned out for him. he was a star athlete, son of gold medalists who wanted him to follow in their footsteps. he was fencer who had a scholarship to a prestigious college and he threw that all away to be an idol. jackson is a very sucessful solo artist in china. and the rest I'm sure you know; speaks multiple languages, is chinese, etc. park jinyoung, lead vocalist, lead dancer also very artsy, he takes many pictures of the members and likes to read. he is quite the 'dork', as some may say. jinyoung seems calm, and he is. but trust me, at the right time and place, he is crazy. you'll see as you go deeper into the member's personalities. as you know, he is an actor, a very good one. he can portray emotions greatly through his eyes. he actually has an upcoming drama called 'he is psychometric', it's coming on march 11th. choi youngjae, main vocalist, lead dancer ok this man is fantastic. not only is he so INSANELY talented, he loves his little girl, coco so much. you saw how many pictures he's posted of that dog lmao moving on. I think it is important for you to know about youngjae's love for music because it just makes you respect him more. he wants to be a music therapist if he weren't an idol so he can heal people with his music. he wants people to know his voice, and for his voice to be remembered. he wants to be known as an artist. he is also on soundcloud, under the alias 'ars'. this came from a quote that he admires, "ars longa, vita brevis". his music is partially r&b influenced, along with slow ballads. bambam, lead rapper, lead dancer he is thai, and bambam is indeed his real nickname, rather than a stage name. his real name is a thai name, which is too long, hence why he has a nickname. that aside, he is very famous in thailand, everyone knows him. he's done many cfs and magazine shoots. he is known for being that one weird member and also someone with great sense of fashion. bambam overall is very successful and likes to bloat lmao. it's not arrogant, obviously, he is incredibly humble but his bloating is only to a joking extent. he is a sweetheart you will love him. very into well, 'meme culture', I'm sure he stalks the fans on social media. kim yugyeom (yoo-gee-yum) you'll get it a swear. main dancer, lead vocalist, sub-rapper, maknae obviously, you've seen him dance. man is a god. he is the tallest member and the cutest. yugyeom won an idol dance show back in I think 2016 or 2017 called 'hit the stage', and is known for being a fantastic freestyle dancer, and one in general. he is the last to have a soundcloud, under his own name. his music is I guess, sadboi hip hop r&b. so basically like jaebeom. and one last thing, you may already know this but it's good to mention. jaebeom and jinyoung. they were a unit before got7 existed called jj project. they had a comeback after 6 years of hiatus in the summer of 2017. a beautiful album, please listen to it. it is called Verse 2. speaking of which, a new subunit debuted last month from this group. they are called 'jus2', which consists of the members, 'yugyeom and jaebeom. maknae and leader. they were veyr powerful. the song they released showed thier sexy charisma, and is one you will def like. the song is great, the album is great. For content, I suggest watching things on weekly idol or asc. The on.y issue I’d worry about is, because they have foreign members, shows like to give them these Korean games that are difficult for foreign members and it won’t make any sense to you. You can feee to skip those moments cus everything else is pretty much funny. I won’t stop you if you don’t skip those moments tho, if you want to watch members reactions and confused faces, but yeah. I’v seen people weekly idol (which they are hilarious on) but as soon as that happens they end up sitting there for like 7 or so minutes confused cus it’s a Korean game. So yeah you have our permission, when you watch those. Other than that it’s good, I strongly recommend you watch them cus those eps could probs help you get used to their faces maybe. Idk. I took forever to remember their faces cus I’m terrible at it, but I’m clearly a different breed of human 😂😂😂😂
