Fjord: “You can hold your breath, right?” Nott: “......probably.” OOOOOF that hurts knowing the backstory

"I'm Not very good at many things." Oh that stings with the knowledge of the backstory. Especially given the situation and how it relates.

I'm fairly certain Matt came up with Kiri just so he can troll the players.

There’s a campaign of the lost kenku. Maybe that’s where he got it? 🤔

Matt tried to kill Kiri off right off the bat. The only reason why Kiri lived is because the Crocks rolled really low to hit her.

I know this was subtle and maybe people didn’t catch it but I think Nott is beginning to care for the entire group as a whole especially when she risks the water and yells “I’LL PROTECT YOU ALL!” Hopefully this means she’s beginning to care for them more and more.

Really? Because i heard I'll sink you all...Still I'd prefer the former instead it sounds more motherly and protective.

"Water does not resist. Water flows. When you plunge your hand into it, all you feel is a caress. Water is not a solid wall, it will not stop you. But water always goes where it wants to go, and nothing in the end can stand against it. Water is patient. Dripping water wears away a stone. Remember that, my child. Remember you are half water. If you can't go through an obstacle, go around it. Water does." ― Margaret Atwood, The Penelopiad

“You must be shapeless, formless, like water. When you pour water in a cup, it becomes the cup. When you pour water in a bottle, it becomes the bottle. When you pour water in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Water can drip and it can crash. Become like water my friend.” ---- Bruce Lee, Coolest of Cool Dudes. I wonder what it is about sagely advise and water.

The taoist teachings tell the story of an old man who was caught in the river rapids, headed for a great waterfall. A great crowd saw him and many hurried along the river to catch up to him and pull him to safety. But when they got there, they found the old man pulling himself gently free onto the shore. They asked him in amazement how he'd done it, and he replied he hadn't really thought about it but... "When i was young i used to swim in this river, and learned it's currents and turns. And as i flowed along, i guess i learned to let it carry me, to dive when it pulled me down and wait for the right moment so that it would carry me up when i surfaced. I fell into the swirl, and came out with the swirl. This is how i survived"

Hydrophobia. It's Latin for Water Fear.
@Achilles36663 жыл бұрын
The actual term in this case would be "aquaphobia" Hydrophobia is related to rabies.
@FoxGamer396184 жыл бұрын
For the thumbnail, fear of water is hydrophobia. Sorry. I don’t mean to sound rude, or anything.
@Achilles36663 жыл бұрын
In the thumbnail it says "water phobia" which is fine. Phobia can be used as a word on its own. Hydrophobia actually refers to rabies. The true term is "aquaphobia"
