The multiple staff members and interns find subjects and stories for the day. So the assertion no one except Opie was capable of solely taking callers and changing the subject, for a 6-7 figure salary, is CRAZY. Of course with hindsight, we know why. Ant was miserable and slowly trying to build his own network. Jim would do anything, even host with Sam, to keep a stable easy paycheck. Both didn't care about content, only paychecks.

On the robot vs human issue the biggest misconcept of the current system is that you need to have money, therefore a job to not starve. And i'm not talking about "you can always be a homeless person, and eat out of trashcans" either. We should have robots do the bulk of the wrok and people have fun for the most part. Money and 90% of jobs are obsolete.

it's not uncommon at all that one year a person will be demonizing another nations' country/leader and the next year they find out they're wrong and change their opinion without acknowledging how foolish they were in the first place. O&A have NEVER been on the up and up with politics. I think Opie makes the most sense when he talks politics.
