Thanks for giving us these videos. It's unfortunate how bad press of this carnival can make it seem worse than it really is for the majority of visitors. I've never been so it is interesting to "see" it . That said there doesn't appear to be much in the way of events. To me it appears to be a lot of people moving from one part of Notting Hill to another.

yeah the general consensus is lots of hard work and love. a few unsavoury incidents but show me a booze flavoured mass event without trouble. monarch/gov/council bang on about how much they love the Caribbean/Africa yet try their hardest to stop it every year. id take this over ascot every damn day of the week
