Iam a fun of Mark noffler but when I to understand guitar melody and pain I listen always to Andy Litmer Camel ...1984 preaure point .If you smoke the joint and listen to presure point and stationary travellet you Will get same level as presure point. Dont do that.cause he is David Gulimoure favorite gitarist. Excuse my lunguage......I play guitar but not same feeling ad Andy laitmer ....CAMEL .GoD bless you . ))

Just found this on you tube, brilliant..!.... Saw Dire Straits about 5or 6 times, once when they headlined at Wembley stadium. With EC as his sideman. Seen Notting Hillbillies twice. Also seen Knopfler as a solo artist about 5 times. The version of this song with EC at Knebworth is absolutely brilliant. Also on you tube. Also as an aside on this version its Ed Bicknell on drums, who just happens to be the manager of Dire Straits.

At this time, Knopfler was playing with his friends Bredan Crocker and Steve Phillips : you can really touch the pleasure and the feelings. Paul Franklin is so good and inspired in his playing of pedal steel guitar ; listen to the solos! Finally, I love the "BB King style" of this blues...
