When Bannan made contact with the ball his foot was not raised, just caught their player on the follow through. At the most it was a yellow but it wasn't a red.

I'm portuguese and I'm happy that a portuguese coach who isn't Mourinho can actually do a good job. Sheffield playing style is typical Carvalhal: players close of each other, a lot of short passes, movement and criativity. I hope that Sheffield won the promotion and get some better players to see what Carvalhal can do in Premier League

+Daniel Walstow He was leading with his studs, his lunge meant that momentum had taken full control of his body, he missed the ball, and he made contact with the defenders ankle. If the defender had not have scooped his ankle out of the way like he did, it could have been a very bad injury.
