Rangnick saw the talent in Elanga early on and actually had the courage not to reward Rashford for his lazy behavior. Ten Hag tried to force Rashford to be something he never was until the very end and it played a massive role in losing his job.

They literally are a defensive team. That's their style of play. Scoring 7 is a freak result and it's great, but it's highly atypical and doesn't change the fact that they are generally defensive and score on the counter. Which, by the way, is what happened here too. They had 37% possession. They have a clear style and you're the clueless one if you can't tell. Even more clueless if you let one result dictate your analysis of an entire season of football.

They are a strong defensive unit that hit on the counter which has always been Nunos way of playing. You could call them a defensive team or a counter attacking team, it doesn't matter they are great from both sides. Not a front foot attacking team by any means though. You don't have a crowded fixture list like the rest of the big clubs. Newcastle, Villa were all ravaged by injuries when they competed in Europe - unless you have the squad depth to compete without compromising PSR, Forest will also struggle next season
