Watched the game today from the home end (live 20 miles away but lifelong notts fan), we need defenders and midfielders who can head the ball. Too many time this season all a team has to do is knock a long ball into the channel (left or right it doesn't matter) and our wingbacks, who aren't "backs" are way up the field. Then any cross into our area causes panic as there seems to be no-one who can command the area and get the first header away. Today we were very, very negative. Passing sideways and backwards. three times Jodie jones passed the ball back 30+ yards from a corner! When they scored (I was right behind the goal) we had 2 or 3 chances to hoof clear but were seemingly unable to do so. Lots of players to replace next season. Get defenders who can head the ball and midfielders who can mark and properly track back when we are without the ball..

Maybe im glass half full but I see lots and lots of reasons to be optimistic. We've consolidated in the League and now we push on. Our back line does need an overhaul and there are things about our style of play that needs changing, but we still have a strong core of players. I'm not as convinced about some that particular players will leave, and if they do we'll find new ones who could be just as good. For every Randall we have had a Jodi, for every Kairo we've had a Langstaff. Have faith that this summer we step it up a gear or three

Not a Notts fan but do enjoy the commentary and perspective. Notts and Wrexham will be tied for a while due to last season. Lots of respect for what Luke Williams was able to do. Major rebuild is in order for the back line and midfield. We are also going to be doing a major rebuild, ours will be in the midfield. I think Notts will get an auto next year if ownership opens the wallet more to allow the Maynard to build his team. 70% possession, one shot on target. Oof. Best of luck next year!

Bring in Garrard with a few good signings and we will do descent next season but with Maynard in charge I can only see relegation in our future

Well my opinion remains the same, relegation or lower bottom half with SM at the helm next season, that was boring, slow, predictable. What was Nemane doing for that pass for the goal, just clear your lines...Same old mistakes being made nothing has changed. And if that is the players giving their all Mr Maynard as you suggested in your interview then I shudder to think what it may look like when they don't

Season over, Status Quo. City will win the title, Pep is a Genius. Williams settles Swansea, and we lose to the WORST TEAM in the EFL. Next year, without the Stockports Wrexham and Mansfield, who we took 0 points from 18, are gone. We will be the biggest fan based team in League 2 and if King Stuart is prophetic, then we will go up. I dearly hope that he is right, but hiw will we replace Langstaff Crowley and Jones??????? They will go. Langstaff had 18 assists for his goals, between Jones and Crowley. As for Mcgoldrick, we'll I SUPPOSE HE IS ONE OF OUR OWN, after 6 games before leaving, I actually don't care what people think about my opinions as it is still a free democracy thus am allowed to verse my opinion. I truly hope that I'm wrong and you are correct regarding Maynard, but we shall see
