The pacing would be faster along with platforming being harder if they do classify it as a Crazy or a Crazy+, which will exceed the time limit of the Map Jam. As for confusion, it usually goes away the more you play the map.

agreed, i always died on gallery of illusion, when i hit the one that appearing the water part (idk which one) i always didn't automatically swim. idk why, and the first minigame on surreal scene is really hard and the rest are just clearly free. and now i just need to beat envisioned order and smoldering fractured realm :/ these highlight/jam maps are literally impossible for me.

Tbh the map jam is great and all but there's no crazy+. It should have been the best map for each difficulty so as to keep the highlight structure. The other issue is that the maps themselves aren't very "highlight-ish" and most of them have identical, bland styles.

It's because the theme for the 2024 FE2CM Map Jam was "Abstract" and they were only given a week to finish the map before the deadline, that's why most highlight maps in November feel the same. Also, the reason why there's no Crazy+ for this month is because no map in that difficulty placed top 6.

@@ethan_real There wouldn't be more maps as six maps won the map jam. They shouldn't have picked two hard maps because a majority of the player base spends most of the time in pro servers where hard maps are scarce. As for the decreased chances of winning I don't see the issue.
