We are eternal. Our bodies are like space suits to allow us to live in this 3D reality. Our consciousness is separate from our brain/body. We have many lifetimes. We are eternally connected to all that is, and everything is conscious.

Truth ( reality ) remains constant, it is our perception of reality that changes as we understand more.

There seem to be a lot more to consciousness than just brain activity. There was one case (as witnessed by many staff) when an advance stage, bed ridden Alzhiemer patient was suddenly lucid and talkative shortly before her death. At that instance she expressed her rage against her husband that she was fully aware that he was still in controls of her money and, that he was visiting her infrequently due to the fact that he was involved with another women who happened to be one of the staff. After many years of working with this patient, this was the very first time I had every a full engaging conversation with her. Normally this patient babels nonsense like an infant. In the end, through the shift she called out for late husband (from her first marriage) and died that night.

Sam Parnia's warning about suicide and NDEs, in this or another of his videos is wrong. Suicides do not all have negative NEDs (not even close) and rather demonstrates his agenda on suicide. He's lost some credibility with me.

What if the pineal gland is where consciousness is? And another thing. Those people who are in a vegetable state. Can science one day be able to have technology to read minds of those people and better understand them?

+Sylph Natural Our brain, and what makes you U, transcends the physical. it's why we can't answer these questions. You KNOW you exist, you know you're an individual. You ask why, where and how. And we do this without being asked. Blood and flesh can't do that.

+Sylph Natural If only it was that simple. The concept of consciousness is what is termed "The Hard Problem" because it has perplexed everyone from surgeons, Drs, Philosophers, Physicists etc. If consciousness was primarily organic and resides only in the brain, people who have been clinically dead should not be able to recall what happens in the ER especially when they have claimed to have seen and heard everything in the room. I doubt we will be even a cm closer to the answer in 10 more of our life times.

Many things he says are evidence against his hypothesis. People are like cars that think they're "runnings". When we stop working, we ignorantly wonder where the running went. If you repair a car before it degrades too far, it runs again. You don't ask where its soul went in the meantime. Vegetative cars' starter motors can run without firing up the engine. We can have false memories of lights and tunnels as we wake. Where is the objective data of OBE impossible viewings?
