Because he has values and he loves his God and religion, in Islam the prayers and the obedience and respect to his Allah swt gives him his God's blessing and a player is blessed he'll get even better as his craft though. There are some frequencies that we can't see but we can feel and when you pray to God and connect with God being religious tho, you can feel like a superman, cause God Has the highest power and then he gives you blesses you with the power you need by his will. It might sound superficial or so, but it's true, even when you read Quran you have this pieceful energy that you feel inside your heart and around you cause you're reading the words of your creator, especially when there is rewards for reading Quran in Islam also rewards when you do charity help the ones in needs ect.. . Those rewards could be the blessing of power or wealth or intelligence ect... . But yeah, i can't rant more than i did haha, i think you get the idea tho.
